What made her uneasy was that she had left so much behind on the Convoy. Her clothing was all new, unfamiliar garments from Kropmork. Her journal was absent, leaving her with no music from its radio and no way to contact distant friends. Her weapons were still lying on the floor of her room, leaving her only her bare fists to fight with.
But she had faith that she could handle this. After all, this wasn't the first time her heart had felt unsettled, and it wouldn't be the last.
Now, what room was this? She entered with caution, looking around to see who was about, and spotted someone she recognized. "Kurumi!" With that, she relaxed, deciding there was no need to tread with caution around her. "How are you holding up?"

Well, not quite everything. She took a seat on the workbench, making a point of leaving enough room for Milk to work. And as soon as she was seated, a small white-and-blue cat with wings dropped off of her back as if it had instantly recognized that there was no reason to continue clinging to it. Instead it sprawled out next to her leg lazily, where it planned to continue napping and not contribute anything meaningful to the conversation.

Opening the door, he peered into the room
...Holy crap. Was that a monster? On the ship? And was it examining itself in a mirror? Something had to be done.
Red dug into his pockets and pulled out a sweet poffins. He had never seen this type of monster before, but Professor Oak should know! But first he had to catch the thing.
Walking steadily towards the creature, he kept his palm outstretched, with the poffin in it, offering it to Milk.

This was not her day.
"Miru!" She hopped off the workbench and backed up, looking around for an escape route.

"Come on. I won't hurt you, little Miru." Yet. First sate the monsters hunger. Then beat the shit out of it. "It's good."
And to prove his point he tore off a piece and ate it.

...but food. Sweet pastries, at that.
Milk looked left, then right, and ran at the poffin, aiming to steal it and run off again.

The redhead gave no sign of noticing the strange, pink rabbit; he'd seen weirder. Though the large gourd on his back may have accidentally bumped into it as he passed to look over the assorted weapons. They were pretty high-end compared to what he was used to.

Then she saw the pink creature on the workbench, and assumed it must be some kind of zoo.
She tilted her head to one side, as if that would help this all somehow make sense, "Hello, little...animal?"

"Don't call me an animal ~miru."

Still, she had made a mistake, and she had to apologize, "Ichi is sorry...what would you...like to be called?"
