Jean didn't know her way around the Fiertia yet. Strange hallways blended into strange hallways, doors leading into unfamiliar rooms in unfamiliar places. But she was used to that foreign, displaced feeling. In fact, it probably felt more like "home" to her than her own room did.

What made her uneasy was that she had left so much behind on the Convoy. Her clothing was all new, unfamiliar garments from Kropmork. Her journal was absent, leaving her with no music from its radio and no way to contact distant friends. Her weapons were still lying on the floor of her room, leaving her only her bare fists to fight with.

But she had faith that she could handle this. After all, this wasn't the first time her heart had felt unsettled, and it wouldn't be the last.

Now, what room was this? She entered with caution, looking around to see who was about, and spotted someone she recognized. "Kurumi!" With that, she relaxed, deciding there was no need to tread with caution around her. "How are you holding up?"

Milk's eyes widened and she turned around, but, seeing someone who should know who she was, she sighed with relief. "I'm doing all right ~miru. I brought just about everything I needed, after all ~miru." She pulled her weapon out of the way to make room on the workbench, which must have looked silly, considering that the Milky Mirror was taller than Milk was at the moment. "Do you need me to fix something, Jean?"

"I wish I did!" she replied with a faint, awkward laugh. "But I rushed off of the Convoy too quickly. I didn't think ahead like you did, and as a result, I forgot everything."

Well, not quite everything. She took a seat on the workbench, making a point of leaving enough room for Milk to work. And as soon as she was seated, a small white-and-blue cat with wings dropped off of her back as if it had instantly recognized that there was no reason to continue clinging to it. Instead it sprawled out next to her leg lazily, where it planned to continue napping and not contribute anything meaningful to the conversation.

Milk smiled, sure of herself. "I just didn't want my stuff to get wrecked or destroyed again ~miru." She made no mention of the fact that they had been specifically ordered not to save their belongings. "What are you doing ~miru?"

As per usual he was eating something and Pika was riding on his shoulder, hat on her head. He was going to take a longer nap then usual this time, so he was looking for a secluded room.

Opening the door, he peered into the room

...Holy crap. Was that a monster? On the ship? And was it examining itself in a mirror? Something had to be done.

Red dug into his pockets and pulled out a sweet poffins. He had never seen this type of monster before, but Professor Oak should know! But first he had to catch the thing.

Walking steadily towards the creature, he kept his palm outstretched, with the poffin in it, offering it to Milk.

Milk was inspecting the weapon, turning around the gears, spinning the reflective part with its rose-decorated rim. She stopped and sniffed the air. Food? Slowly, she turned to look up... and found that weird guy right next to her, with food, staring right at her.

This was not her day.

"Miru!" She hopped off the workbench and backed up, looking around for an escape route.

Red crouched down to keep his hand at eye level, while Pika went off his shoulder to block the door exit.

"Come on. I won't hurt you, little Miru." Yet. First sate the monsters hunger. Then beat the shit out of it. "It's good."

And to prove his point he tore off a piece and ate it.

It looked good, and Milk hesitated for a bit. This was embarrassing. What did he think she was? Of course, he couldn't find out her identity, and besides, her weapon was over there on the workbench, so she couldn't transform even if she wanted to. But being treated like a pet... yuck. She gave one last look backward to see where she could run off to.

...but food. Sweet pastries, at that.

Milk looked left, then right, and ran at the poffin, aiming to steal it and run off again.

Normally Gaara avoided the forge, for no other reason than he had no real purpose to be in there. So long as he had the sand on his back, what did he need a gun for? But he was a Powder Monkey, and part of his job description involved weaponry. Besides, he could feel himself getting rusty. Gaara wasn't about to let that go unattended to.

The redhead gave no sign of noticing the strange, pink rabbit; he'd seen weirder. Though the large gourd on his back may have accidentally bumped into it as he passed to look over the assorted weapons. They were pretty high-end compared to what he was used to.

Milk froze -- intruder! -- and ducked under the workbench. She peered over the edge, watching the red-haired man. He hadn't even noticed her at all. ...Did he need something fixed?

"...I know you're there." Gaara said placidly to Milk as he surveyed the different types of guns. The rabbit-thing really didn't bother him at all. It takes more than that to rattle Gaara. "You can come out." he added calmly. No sense in having a nervous animal-- at least he thought it was an animal-- in a room full of weaponry. Best to at least let it know it was safe to lower its guard.

What-- he hadn't even looked at her, she was probably safe. She flopped over into view, keeping as still as she could, as if she were just a plushie left behind in the room. Passing as a toy had worked before she found the Way, when she needed to get from place to place and get a place to sleep and food to steal eat. Maybe he'd leave her alone.

Wandering through the airship, aimless but curious about everything, Oichi found herself in yet another room she didn't know the name of. It didn't look like the 'deck', that was on top. You could see clouds if you looked over the edge of it. This room didn't have an edge. And it definitely wasn't a hallway, it was not long enough.

Then she saw the pink creature on the workbench, and assumed it must be some kind of zoo.

She tilted her head to one side, as if that would help this all somehow make sense, "Hello, little...animal?"

There were too many people coming in here. Milk had never been interrupted so much on the Way... unless she just didn't notice it as much, since she hadn't hidden her real form from them. After nearly being caught by monster battlers, though, she decided to just stave it off right then and there.

"Don't call me an animal ~miru."

She wasn't surprised by the talking, her brother talked to her all the time, and he was dead. Probably dead. Something that didn't want to be called an animal talking wasn't really that much of a stretch.

Still, she had made a mistake, and she had to apologize, "Ichi is sorry...what would you...like to be called?"

"My name is Milk ~miru," she said. Might as well... stupid circumstances. "Milk from the Palmier settlement ~miru."
