Content: Hojo takes advantage of the new cabin boy
Setting: The Infirmary
Time: Shortly after Isa arrives and introduces himself.
Warnings: ... Hojo. He should always be warned for.
Isa wasn't sure if this whole thing was really going to work out the way he'd hoped. He'd introduced himself, and so far people just seemed pleased that there was a new cabin boy around to run errands. It was making Isa regret his job option.
At least most of them had seemed friendly enough, even if Isa foresaw a really busy future ahead of him. But then there was this guy, one of the doctors. He'd been short, which Isa could handle, but when Isa had asked where he was wanted, that was when the doctor got snarky with him.
Isa had refrained from pointing out that just because someone works in the infirmary doesn't mean that's where they currently are on the grounds that asking someone if they had legs could go really badly if the answer was 'no'.
That it would be a bad idea to smart mouth one of the crew, and especially one of the doctors, so soon after arriving only really occurred to Isa as he was on his way down to the infirmary. He hadn't been here more than once before, and that was when he'd only just arrived, and he couldn't quite remember the way properly so it wasn't a quick journey. Not that Isa was going to complain.
He knocked on the infirmary door without really knowing what to expect on the other side. Someone with no sense of humour, obviously, but the rest was a mystery.
