After all that nonsense that had occurred over the course of the festival, von Karma simply had to get away from that infernal, imperfection-ridden ship. After very carefully making sure that nobody was following him, he headed back out to the festival and took the path that seemed to have the least vuvuzelas to find the one tea stand he'd deemed acceptable.

Ahhh, there it was. Edgeworth smiled to himself and walked briskly towards his destination. He hoped he wasn't too late; there were a few blends that he had wanted to try now that he had more time. As he neared the stall, he remained unaware of their other patron...

von Karma had gotten there second, and-

...

...

That stupid hat. He'd recognize it anywhere. It was completely impossible that anyone else would have the lack of style to wear that combination of clothing. Somehow, von Karma held himself back from shouting in a fit of rage and somehow settled on a petty insult, instead.

"As usual, you appear to have dressed yourself without even thinking to look in any reflective surface to make sure you didn't look like a complete idiot."

Edgeworth froze in his tracks. That cold, raspy voice...it could only belong to one man. He slowly turned to face him, and-

"Hrngaha!"

It was him. Edgeworth gaped wordlessly as he was hit with a flood of emotions. Shock, rage, and even traces of childish fear coursed through his veins. He clamped his mouth shut, clenched his fist, and took a very deep breath while he resisted the urge to slam the old vulture's head through the counter.

Just like his former mentor, he settled for petty insults instead.

"It's still better than how you looked a short time ago," he snapped back. "Tell me, how does being large, green, and scaly fit into the world of high fashion?"
