Ffamran had to say he was completely not thrilled about this. Even though he had prodded Gumshoe a little, it was hardly his fault that the sub-lieutenant had gone off like a drunken oaf. He shuffled into the Commander's quarters ready to be torn a new one, and completely pissed at Kiros and Gumshoe.

"Very sorry about all of this, sir."

Glaring at Ffamran with only a gaze that can be described as HELL, FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, Kiros slowly spoke as he kept his gaze on the stupid git in front of him. "I am extremely sorry for this, sir." The mechanic spoke to Edgeworth but his hellish glare was on Ffamran instead of his superior.

"It...it happened so quickly."

Hijikata absolutely had no idea just what in the seven hells was happening now. First some bullshit about the damned banquet (and he was ordered, ordered to attend that shit, damnit) and then while he was still brooding over what he should do there (and in general being his broody self) this happened. Next thing he knew, Edgeworth had came into his quarters, ordered him to follow him and now... this.

The man was silent as he trailed behind the first mate, a lighted cigarette in between his lips. Somehow the boatswain had the suspicion that he'd need more than just one smoke to go through what would happen next...

"Tch," the man snorted, clearly unconvinced. "What the fuck is going on between the both of you? Explain or seppuku."

"Seppuku can wait. First, I want some answers." Edgeworth stormed into his office, and ignored the apologies from the two troublemakers. He circled around to his desk, and without sitting down, he crossed his arms and fixed Ffamran and Kiros with a cold, steely stare.

"Would you two care to explain why our helmsman turned into a drunken, green eyed monster?"

"Best I can tell, sirs ---" He paused, this had to be the most embarrassing thing he could imagine, he was not some sort of promiscuous lech. "Lieutenant Gumshoe was under the mistaken impression that my and Seaman Seagill's relationship was something more than platonic, and that as I was - of course - also carrying on with Fran and Ms. Andrews and so on, that I was clearly unworthy of Seaman Seagill's affections."

Ffamran rubbed his forehead, trying to be accurate but trying not to babble. "The Lieutenant eventually snapped which caused the ensuing -- drama" Ffamran was able to put an incredible amount of loathing into the word. Kiros wouldn't even listen to him for an explanation, just assuming the worst.

The hue on Kiros' face turned even brighter when Bunansa began to explain himself to Edgeworth. He looked in-between highly embarrassed, hurt, livid, rageful and almost sickly at the same time. What a colorful mural of complete woe that Kiros painted on his face now. He couldn't even speak right now, his voice nearly hoarse from all the screaming he did earlier and speechless in how he was the laughing stock in all of Kropmork because of this misunderstanding.

Kiros Seagill hates his life as of now.

"..." Hijikata was speechless. The boatswain really had no idea what to say to that (maybe besides that this was some drama that could do well in a short story - he'd buy it) and only was there, taking a very needed drag of his precious cigarette (he had forgotten to take his pack out with him in all the sudden-ness) before looking at both of them for a long while before speaking a few simple words.

"Idiots. Both of you should commit seppuku now for embarrassing the whole ship like that," he spoke. Obviously even Edgeworth's anger had apparently been transferred to the boatswain. Hijikata himself was not in the best of moods right now - even worse than usual, to be more precise. Just why were idiots like them on the ship anyway?!

Edgeworth sighed heavily, and rubbed the side of his temple. For once, Hijikata was right. He couldn't believe that all this trouble came from a simple misunderstanding.

However, as near as he could tell, Gumshoe was the main culprit here. Telling by their reactions now, and their reactions over those blasted journals, they were just as clueless as he was. Still, they were the ones who made the situation public...

"First of all," he said, after a deep breath,"I want both of your recording devices. If you don't have them on you, bring them here. I can't imagine a single thing you two can say that won't make matters worse. You'll get them back when I see fit. As for the rest of your punishment..." Edgeworth uncrossed his arms, and began to pace around the small room.

"You two are to stay in your quarters until the banquet tomorrow - if you attend - or until otherwise ordered to leave." He was tempted to use that as their punishment, but he decided to wait until he heard what von Karma had to say about the event.

"That is

Ffamran sighed. He handed over his journal without a fuss, apparently the irresistible powers of his penis were grounds for punishment. He could probably bum off of Fran's journal for a few days, unless she took his side.

Well ... whatever. The seamen was welcome to his crazy, drunk boyfriend.

"Have a good rest of your evening, sirs, sorry for the trouble."

Ffamran saluted and then headed off to his room, at least he could work on his airbike plans, without Kiros, from there.

Deciding to do the same and simply hand over his journal to the First Mate, Kiros simply hoped that he could perhaps talk to some of his other friends in this matter. Ugh, that Ffamran certainly got on his last nerves and he planned on scrapping making that silly airbike with him as well as destroying any notes he had about engines and such for it. Be damned if he would ever work with that Bunansa-brat ever again!

"Very well, fine." He grumbled just as he saluted his two superiors.

"Now if you shall excuse me..."

To hell with Ffamran, hopefully Rikku and Fran would take his side...

Or better yet, CAROL!

The boatswain was a little more than just plain annoyed at how this whole thing was. He was beginning to develop a bit of respect for Kiros before this but obviously now it had plummeted into the negatives after this entire fiasco. Hijikata snorted through another puff of his cigarette, clearly irritated by this situation as much as the scowl on his face was more prominent than ever. Just why did he have to be surrounded by such idiots. Really seppuku would have been a much better punishment... but Edgeworth was the First Mate, and Hijikata had no power to override his command.

Besides, he certainly didn't want to be viewed as the others as someone who didn't have respect for his superiors.

Again, Hijikata snorted through his cigarette as both the navigator and the mechanic left, taking another drag of it before grunting out, "Idiots... tch. I'll be taking my leave as well," he finished with a curt nod before exiting, a hand running through his hair wearily.

He knew he really needed to get himself smashed over this.
