His cart was tucked in beside a building, out of the sun, and close enough to the street to not be missed completely. The best part about this was how effortless it was. "Hey," he said to a sap--er, customer-looking fellow passing by, "Wanna buy some Hanami tea?"

"Is it very sweet, dear? I'm afraid that I don't have much of a taste for sweet things."

Wandering around, Chie decided to look for a new place to get steak skewers. She was hungry.

"Pardon me, dear," he said, "but you seem to know your way about the festival better than I. Might you know where one could get some real food? I don't have the stomach for so many sweets, and heartier fare would be a welcome change."

He took a cast iron pot, stared at for somewhile before checking out this old... wooden... thing. It looked like a small house but it had a hole in a middle. Maybe it's a doll house. But that poor doll would look so sad if he had only one window. The good count even shook things a bit just to check if it had some furniture. The silence was telling. Do commoners not put furniture in their own doll houses!?!

He couldn't help but notice the sullen-looking young man as they passed one another. "Pardon me," he said with a kind smile, "but you look distraught. Can I offer my assistance in any way?"
