Now, Red had just finished shopping and was making his way back to his room. The gifts he was giving out, safely tucked into a sack.

However, before he could even leave the deck of the ship, Pikachu (wearing his cap) had jumped off his head and taken off, sniffing wildly at the air. Determined and on a mission to find the what she was smelling.

Normally Red would of just let her go. Pika was smart and always came back. However, it was the day before Lunasa, she might just be trying to steal some food from some people.

So he followed her, still holding the sack. Too much sure she didn't do anything bad (and to get his hat back).

There is no way, this could end badly, right?

Quick on the draw, Red's next command mimiced Green's.

"Quick Attack!"

And with that Pika spun around, and did her best to get up to momentum before slamming into Eevee.

The two creatures hit like titans, regardless of their small size, and Eevee yelped in pain, hopping back. That one Thunderbolt had really hurt her, it seemed. She could still fight, but she was favoring one of her front paws.

"..." Green paused, not giving another order, looking unhappy, but stern.

"That's it, this is over." He finally said, kneeling and scooping the little creature up tenderly. Three years ago he never would have even considered calling a fight midway, hurt partner or not. But things had changed.

Red stared at his Rival. Pity coming across his face, at first before it settle back to it's normal line. He never really felt much of a sense of accomplishment, when he beat Green. Except when he was breifly the champion. Not like he did, when it trainers that was as strong as Green.

But this? This felt even more hallow then usual.

Walking over to Pika, he picked her up, not wanting her to interfere with what the boy was doing.

Though Red had a question burning in his mind. Did Green call it for Eevee or did he just believe that Red, truly wasn't worth the fight anymore? He needed to break the silence somehow. "...Why?"

"Tch, she's obviously tired from the trip. Can't have a real fight this way." Though the words were true to a degree, they had a false echo to them. As if it was just an excuse. Once again he realized he couldn't beat Red. With Trick Room in affect it would have been close, but Eevee would have been ran ragged. What was the point in causing her pain? They had to get stronger.

"Looks like we'll just have to finish this later." he paused, then smirked, though it was half-hearted. "You realize what this means?"

"Ah...Right."

Okay Green was smirking. That was a good sign...right?

"That I'm going to run into you, at the worse possible times? Like before?" It was a joke. Or at least, with the look Red was giving him, half of one.

"Heh, yeah kinda like that." And it was true. He couldn't go home after a half-assed fight like that. How would he face his underlings if he did? So there was only one solution: he had to fight red again. But if Red was on this airship he'd probably never find him again.

Unless he was on it as well. To Green it was obvious. And it sure beat lying in wait in strange places, waiting for the other trainer to come by.

"Sure as hell can't let you get all comfy, right?"

Red waved his hand, as if dismissing the idea straight out.

"Well don't."

Another wave of his hand and he dug into his jacket pockets. He knew he had four left. Scrounging around for the poffins.

"Besides, if you didn't me to get comfy."

Ah ha! There they were. He handed two of the Green ones to Green, and kept the Red and Blue one for himself and Pika.

"You could of found me."

"Could've found you? Are you stupid?" He handed one of the poffins to Eevee before tearing into the other. "No one knew where you were. You know how many trainers came bitching to me when they couldn't challenge you? And I had a Gym to run. Like I had time to go running all over Reial for you."

He paused, chewing thoughtfully. "Hell, I'm surprised your brother didn't fry you with his weird powers."

Red scratched his nose slightly and was trying to decide, if he should tell his rival exactly where he was. "Green, where would you go to find strong, wild monsters to tame?"

Taking a bit into his poffin. "No, how many?" And congrats on the gym."

And another nose scratch. "...He punched me...if that helps." He mused for a second. He just beat Green, should he ask for his gym badge?

"Strong, wild... hell a cave or jungle or something were there aren't people. What does it matter? Like it or not you're the Champion. You can't just go wandering off like a kid!"

He paused, snorting. "And thanks. As for your brother... you deserved it. Hell I dunno why I haven't slugged you yet."

"Something like that. Besides, I had my reasons."

He seemed confused. "...What did I do to deserve those reactions?"

"...you honestly don't know?" He stared at Red for a long moment, looking honestly surprised. "You realize people were starting to assume you were dead, right?"

He gave Green a look. "...That was a srupid thing to assume."

"...."

This guy, geeze. Though Green honestly had little doubt that Red was still alive, personally. But that didn't stop the rumors and gossip. He sighed, shaking his head in defeat. "What did you expect?"

He shrugged his shoulders. Its not like he had that much of a plan, besides trying to find a place to hide out. "Dunno."
