THIS IS JOSHUA'S 69TH LOG JUST SO YOU KNOW fallingjunkyard August 15 2010, 07:03:37 UTC
On the Amestris, huh? It wasn't too far away from where the Convoy was docked, so Joshua was willing to make the effort to make his way to the new WildKat II on his crutches. When he arrived, he saw the CLOSED sign and ignored it with years of practice. Shifting on his crutches so he could awkwardly open the door (this was getting really annoying. He was tempted to use magic for door opening like he did in his cabin), Joshua entered the new establishment, crutches making small 'tck' sounds on the floor.

"The decor could do with some work," Joshua said in greeting, smiling. "It doesn't quite have the same atmosphere as the one back in Melior."

Sanae, had his eyes closed and was taking a sip of coffee, when the boy entered. "Yeah, yeah. Just wait till it's finish."

And then he saw the crutches, and almost dropped his coffee. "What the hell happened, J?"

Joshua rolled his eyes and moved towards Mr. H. "Making me talk before drawing up a seat for me? Surely you're not going to let the injured stand around all day. Bad customer service, you know."

He pointed a finger at the injuree, before laughing. "Even if I did, you would still come back."

But what the hey, he gets up and draws a chair for poor, poor child. He waited for Joshua, to sit. "So spill."

Sanae smirked at the hmph, while he went back to his bar to get Isshin some coffee.

At the question he almost stumbled, as he brought back a cup for him and his bro.

"Depends Joshua." Now Mr. H wasn't one for using a full name or a real one, unless he was being serious for once. "Mainly on how far you want to go...and what sort of relationship ya want. Still J, even if you don't know exactly what you do, you just need to trust the person you're with. Though what do you want to know spefically?"

Unlike Sanae, Isshin had no reaction whatsoever at all to Joshua's question - after all, he was well aware (and wholly supportive!) of Kiryu-kun's relationship with Ness-kun. Ah, the youth of today~ how wonderful~

He took his own cup of coffee once his brother had brought it over, taking a moment to drink from it as Sanae did his own reply to Joshua. Once that was done though, Isshin took over quite quickly, one finger waving in the air as he added on. "A relationship isn't all just about candlelight dinners and sex, you must understand. Sure, they might help in keeping the relationship alive, but..." he paused dramatically to point a finger right towards Joshua and finished up his sentence, "...they can only do so much in the long run now, Kiryu-kun."

Joshua listened to both of them, his expression somewhat bored; they spoke words he'd heard before from them. Trust... Joshua liked to think that he trusted Ness, but somewhere in the back of his mind, there was always one sticking point when it came to Ness. One sore point that made it hard for Joshua to fully trust him.

Joshua brushed off Isshin's implication that all he'd been doing all this time were 'candlelight dinners and sex' with a wave of his hand and a dismissive, "My, Isshin, I never thought your opinion of me was so poor! I know that much, at least."

He thought over his response to Mr. H's question for a little longer, however, steepling his fingers as he did so. Honestly, he had no idea what he wanted out of this relationship. Were they being overly cautious after their confused and jumbled beginning? So many questions he wanted answers to, but being direct was never Joshua's strong point, so instead he said, "Tell me the furthest distance you can go in a relationship then. And the stepping stones to reach it."

Mr. H pointed at Isshin, as he drank his coffee. "That's different for each person. I would say devotion, would pretty far. Forgiving a person, no matter what and letting going when you have ta."
