Bumblebee had been watching the young man . . . ah, do whatever it was he was doing. The little mech wasn't wholly sure, but it looked like he was enjoying himself, even though it was strenuous. He'd stayed well back to avoid interrupting the young human before he was done, but he really did need to talk to him. If he was on the ship this early and during the festival, likely he was a new crewmember rather than a passenger. All the more reason to talk to the young man. He'd find out about Optimus Prime (and Bumblebee) sooner or later, if he'd not already been told. If whoever had hired him had not already done so, he wanted to be sure to be the one to do it.

At the muttered question, Bee stepped forward, recognizing the opportunity it afforded. "Ah . . . hi! Maybe I can help?"

Lee jumped in the air at the sound of someone approaching--someone very clanky. He turned around, smiling brilliantly, and feeling awkward. "Ah, sumimasen," he said with a deep bow. "I did not see you, uh... I am sorry, I do not know your name! I am Rock Lee!" He thrust his thumb out in the armored man's very mechanical looking face, his grin still bright as ever.

"Did you say you could help me?" he asked, the words registering after the initial shock of seeing someone so decked out in armor. It was quite amazing. Lee was more than a little impressed by it, and had to wonder at the man's strength. Perhaps they could spar together sometime! Lee could challenge himself against him, with the goal to win a match despite the obvious advantage the armor posed! His grin seemed to double wattage, his eyes practically sparkling in excitement, a fist raised near his face, and his hunger all but forgotten. Oh, what a wonderful challenge!

Years of war - especially when one had never known anything else - did something to a person.

Bee jerked back on reflex from the fist that was thrust at his face, a hand coming up to try to block the seeming punch even as he caught himself from snapping a comment about it. The young man's tone had not been hostile in the least, and his thumb was up. So far, the little scout had observed that as a friendly gesture . . . even if he'd not be prepared to experience it directed at himself at quite such close quarters. Oh, well, no harm done. He gave the guy a grin.

"Rock Lee, huh? Nice to meet you! I'm Bumblebee."

Bee wasn't sure what it was exactly that made the other's bright grin even bigger, but . . . um, okay. "Yeah, I think so. You said you were looking for the kitchen, right? I've been with the ship for some time now, so I could show you were it is, and then give you a tour after you've had breakfast, if you'd like."

Lee beamed up at the taller man. "Bumblebee-san, it is very nice to meet you! And I must thank you for your offer to assist me on my quest for the kitchen! I have been looking for some time now, and I feel I have already passed the time allotted to find it!" His eyes became far away and dreamy, his voice rising. "I will just have to take on my challenge and perform two hundred lunges!!! It shall be a most excellent opportunity to build up my strength!" He gave another thumbs up, this time closer to his body.

"And a tour would be most appreciated, Bumblebee-san! I have only just joined the crew, and do not know my way around the ship yet! I am a cabin boy," he added, proudly. "What do you do on the ship, if you do not mind my asking?"

Elizaveta tried hard to be a good worker, she really did, but she'd stayed up late the night before writing letters to her family, as well as to Roderich (she took a bit more time on that one). And though she woke up this morning with good intentions, at this point she was just standing somewhere in the Convoy, goodness she couldn't even remember where, leaning her head against a wall, snoring ever so quietly.

Lee was passing through a corridor, on his way to the kitchens when he bumped into a sleeping girl. A sleeping girl? In the corridor?!? He flush dramatically, and leaned down to the offer her assistance. "I am so sorry, Miss! I did not see you there! And I have disturbed your nap! Oh, dear! I promise I shall make penance by doing 2,000 laps around the--" He broke off, frowning. Where would he do his laps, come to think of it? Running around the deck of the ship was certainly not safe, or very conducive to working on board. Well, they had landed for a festival, so perhaps he could do them somewhere outside...

He nodded decisively, turning his attention back to her. "Etto, what was I saying? Oh! Yes! I shall do 2,000 laps around the festival in penance!" He struck the Nice Guy pose to seal this promise, and quickly asked, "I hope you are okay. I did not mean to hurt you if I did!"

Elizaveta snapped awake when she heard his very...youthful, voice. She blinked slowly at him as he spoke, as if she were trying to decipher a strange language. She murmered repetitions of the words he said as he spoke, groggily trying to catch on to what he was fussing about. "Penance...laps...festival...hurt..."

She furrowed her brows, then it all abruptly hit her what he'd been saying and she became flustered.

"H-Hold on, wait, you don't have to do that! You didn't bother me, I shouldn't have been sleeping here!"

Lee shook his head, his bowl-cut flying from side to side with the motion. "It is absolutely all right! I must make up for almost bowling you over, uh... I am sorry, I did not catch your name! I am Rock Lee!" He stuck his thumb out again, striking his favourite pose and smiling broadly.
