Content: Paula is trying to acclimate herself to the ship! This includes meeting her new crewmates and stalking creepin' on standing over Ness' bedside … okay you get the picture, she's looking for Ness too :'|
Setting: The Convoy! All over the place.
Time: All the time. ...That is actually probably accurate.
Warning: Excessive amounts of good cheer might cause severe tsuntsun reactions in some.
Getting on to the ship had been a lot easier than Paula had expected. She was completely grateful for the chance, so she was going to be sure to do her absolute best! And to do her best, she was going to have to meet her co-workers! …After she found them. Maybe she could find them if she followed the sound of grumbling tummies? (There had to be a grumbling tummy somewhere.) She could have just turned on that difference engine for more than a few minutes, but Paula hadn't quite sat down long enough to write anything properly on it. She was going to do this the old-fashioned way.
So Paula was exploring. Peering in this door that did not seem like it was off-limits, poking in that room that was very inconspicuous, trying to keep out of trouble before she even settled in… Things seemed to be in some sort of disrepair didn't they? Paula made a note to try and help out more than just handing the Captain a box of nails.
Every so often, she would pause off to the side and look like she was contemplating something quite thoroughly. Or someone. She knew he was here. He had to be here. The ship wouldn't have felt so right otherwise. Paula had no idea what Ness looked like, so clearly the easiest way to find him was the most direct route she could think of. So in those moments where she was standing still with her head cocked in thought, she was doing just that.
