"Come in!"

Whenever she could, Penelo was in the infirmary. Since Hex's rampage, there were a lot of injuries from the rubble, and someone had to be on hand to keep people from getting infections. True, the other doctors were around, but she liked to keep busy.

He opens the door and looks in before opening it all the way and going inside. If he had to list the most awkward things he'd ever done, this would definitely make the top five.

Penelo turned around, gasping when she spotted the blood. "Were you the one who got shot over the network?"

Gasping? She works in an infirmary with people who he's sure have been injured worse before and that's her reaction to blood? "...Yeah. That was me." The how-the-gun-went-off doesn't really matter. "I need to get the bullet out."
