No one else is here yet, the AI thought to herself for the thirteenth time that minute. How very sad With a swish of her hand, the ever-present mask on her face switched from [Intrigued] to [Bored]. I do hope someone arrives soon... it would be very tragic if some unnecessary chaos had to be committed to alleviate my boredom The mask changed again, to an expression of [Crazed Delight].

The Convoy appeared to be significantly different from the Silvana in most counts except one, so far: their captains were elusive figures, or so he had thought. The post on the network had intrigued him. What was so peculiar about this captain that a ship-wide meeting was required?
...Well, he was going to find out soon enough.

"Finally," she said to no one in particular as she dispersed the small, glowing red ball of destruction she had been contemplating using. "I was beginning to get very, very bored."

So he stepped onto the deck and looked around, looking for the most likely to be the captain of this vessel.

Out of a sense of obligation as a quartermaster, she'd made her way to the bridge to attend the Q&A session, moving her eye over the small crowd, smiling a little to herself. Hopefully they wouldn't be too shocked.
She caught sight of Hughes, and a quick recollection helped her realized that he was one of the new boatswains. Meeting the other officers now would probably be a good idea, she thought, and made her way over, smiling in greeting.
"Hello. Hughes, right? You're the new boatswain?"

At first glance he probably came across as a little scruffy and unkempt, but a closer look showed his seemingly laid back appearance to be more pristine and in order. The air about him was still easy and friendly, though, someone easy to approach and talk to.
He offered his hand in greeting. "Maes Hughes, and I don't believe we've met before. You're name, miss?"

"I'm Tifa Lockhart, one of the quartermasters. Welcome to the Convoy. How are you finding it so far?"

The little Racconan moved along the edges of the bridge, mindful of how small he was compared to most and keeping out from under foot. If he could he'd find himself a nice perch where he could ask questions and not have to worry about his tail getting stomped on by someone that hadn't noticed the two-foot raccoon.

"You can't see over the crowd, right?"

Well, he was determined to make sure that everybody knew their brand new Mechanic, in case of emergencies. Really, he couldn't wait to get to work on such a fine ship, but he didn't want to seem too eager.
At least by meeting the crew, he'd know who he was speaking with, should they come to him with problems that need fixing.

Chie bounced from foot to foot, looking around at the horde of people on the ship. "Wow, there's so many people here," she muttered.

"Getting nervous?" He asked quietly?
