See....no one had seen him. But he hadn't seen Gumshoe.

"Ah well, different cultures..." He mumbled before he felt someone tug at him. "What the-" Just before he could whirl around and knock whoever the hell it was grabbed him, Kiros found himself staring into the face of a familiar helmsmen! "W-what?" Kiros blinked his eyes for a moment, really not expecting to see anyone from the ship in the city this evening.
"Gumshoe?! What are you doing here?"

He had the man pressed by the chest, one massive hand plenty enough to compress the man's chest enough to cause some serious discomfort. The mugger struggled, and in that struggle, the knife slid free of it's pocket, clattering to the ground with a metallic ring before one tattered boot stepped squarly over it, rendering it harmless to both the crowd and the little dog at his feet. And still, Gumshoe didn't let him down. That grin was gone. And he just -stared- at the would be mugger. Stared, and pressed.

He rushed over to stop the lieutenant from allowing this nasty encounter to get even worse! From what Kiros could tell when he saw the mugger's knife fall to the ground, Gumshoe may have just saved this fool thief from one nasty black eye from Kiros. "I guess its true what they say around here..."
The mechanic mumbled in disbelief, rather thankful that the helmsmen was nearby to stop this jerk. "Let him go, alright?" Kiros smiled worriedly at his fellow crew mate. "No need to use more force and necessary, I am quite sure buddy here got the message!"
