Sephiroth landed his plane just after the freelance delivery plane had left, passing him on the way. The touch down was smooth and perfect, as always. Climbing out, he vaguely noticed the boy nearby. He did not recognize him, however, which caused him to narrow his eyes. The uniform was recognizable enough, however.

Sephiroth lifted his goggles and unstrapped the helmet, pulling it off and tossing it into the pilot's seat. His long hair, tied back into a ponytail fell at his back, his bangs falling forward to frame his face. His glowing eyes regarded the boy. "I hope the Admiral has already gotten word of your arrival."

He slipped his black jacket back on, buttoning up to his neck. "What is your name, soldier?"

"Hisoka Kurosaki, sir," replied Hisoka, saluting. He knew some ships were relaxed in their military protocols, but he wasn't taking any chances. "I'm the new gunner. I sent a telegraph message just before I left Abantiare for Garrettstown. It was supposed to have been delivered before Victoria left Bellcius, so I hope it was."

"You will have to ask the Admiral," Sephiroth replied, pulling his sword from the cockpit now. Then, he nodded his head. "Lieutenant Commander Sephiroth Crescent, pilot."

"Pleased to meet you, Commander Crescent," said Hisoka, returning the courteous nod. His eyes flickered at the sight of Masumune. "You are a swordsman."

That was putting it mildly, if the nodachi was his accustomed weapon.

Rangiku was late, as always. But probably, even if that was the mail plane, no one had bothered going through the mail yet, right? So no one would have noticed if anything was addressed to her and she could snatch anything away before anyone did.

And probably, very probably, he hadn't sent her anything at all. Curse that silver haired devil anyway, dropping into her life that then dropping right back out with no way to contact him. Letting her know he was alive only to disappear on her again, reminding her enough to wound her all over again. She HATED him, and she also hoped he sent her something, anything. Not a letter but maybe a post card, and address, anything.

She was so preoccupied with her thoughts and rushing towards her destination that she found herself barreling into a young man before she had really even noticed he was there.

"Excuse me," she said hurriedly starting to go on, then did a double take. "Why, I don't believe I've seen you before!"

"No problem, Commander," he said, softly, shifting his grip on his dufflebag. "I'm Lieutenant Hisoka Kurosaki, gunner. I arrived with the mail carrier a few minutes ago."

And then he blushed slightly, realizing he had emphasized the "Lieutenant" although the Lieutenant Commander could see his rank insignia as plainly as he could see hers.
