Someone else small and fuzzy on the Way was a little strange. Mimino Kurumi frowned as she contemplated something, then decided against transforming and walked up into view of the newcomer. She waved at him and shot glares at anyone in the shipyard who might be staring.
"Hello. What do you need?"

Harlequin sat on a crate on the deck of the ship, his portable stepstool on the ground next to it. It was how he'd gotten up there and how he'd get back down after all. He'd finished all the work he'd been asked to do, as well as anything else he'd been able to find, and with most the crew off-ship at the hot springs, all that hadn't really amounted to much. So for now he was up on a crate, enjoying the open space, the fresh breeze, and the view, and working on his woodcarving with the specially-sized tools that Mr. Gintoki had so thoughtfully left for him before he'd had to depart.

A grin grew across his face, and he put down his tools and hopped down, dropping smoothly into a bow as he landed. "Yes, sir! Harlequin, at your service!" He straightened and offered his hand. "Glad to meet you, Mr. Quentyn! Wow . . . I don't think I've ever met anyone outside of my own siblings that I could stand and look eye-to-eye before!" Not that the little puppet minded normally but . . . this pleased him to no end.

"Haha. I know what you mean. Ever since leaving home everyone and everything has been so big. It's nice to find there are a few people more my size." He sheepishly rubbed the back of his head with one hand.
