Braska was in the infirmary - not really working, per se, as there weren't any serious injuries to deal with, and half the ship seemed to be off enjoying the city, but he was doing some tidying, and organizing some of the records. He had already done his little tour of Licere, picked up a few things for himself - it wasn't really his sort of city, on the whole, and he was content with the quiet for now, after all that had happened.

"Ah, really? Are you sure he wants to be found this time, then?" Braska replied with a small laugh. Isshin's good mood was infectious, and Braska felt himself relaxing a bit in the other man's presence. He'd been feeling a little tense since the Long Night incident, so a little bit of cheer was more than welcome. And Braska happy to find someone in similar circumstances to his own. "I see! I've only been here about a month, now - I worked in Bellcius before this." Long before this, now, but he didn't need to share that little fact.

/patpat It's okay. daddys_bear January 24 2010, 15:25:24 UTC
The darker-haired man grinned once again at that. "Of course he does!" came the response, though Isshin did seem a tad too cheerful as he responded. "All children always want tp see their parents again, no matter how long time passes by." It was a feeling Isshin was quite aware of, having lost his own parents when he was younger - always wanting to see them, but never being able to get the chance. Just like how his children missed Masaki, really.

Eyes lit up at the next part of the other's response. "Ah, only a month? I hope you're getting used to the life on the skies - I know it can get pretty hard to adapt to at first." While he himself didn't have much of a problem, Isshin did understand how hard it could be during the first few months - the abrupt change of lifestyles could be somewhat jarring at the beginning.

"I hope you're right," Braska replied, smile faltering a little. He didn't know if Yuna was even alive, much less if she wanted to see someone who'd been gone from her life that long again. He recovered slightly with the switch of topic, happy to talk about something other than his own troubles. "The adjustment hasn't been that bad, actually! Moving around all the time takes a little getting used to, but it's much nicer than where I was in the city."

"I know that feeling," Isshin returned with a small laugh - his first few months had been a bit hard to adjust around, since he hadn't really had that much experience in ships even back in his younger days. As the saying went - one couldn't teach an old dog new tricks; though not so much for the man, but well. A part of that phrase did hold true, at the very least. "I guess you're getting used to it, then?"

"Slowly but surely," Braska replied. "It's mostly just been a lot of change, all at once." Returning to Bellcius, leaving again, finding a new job...the Long Night attack had just added more chaos to the mix. Still, it always helped to think on the bright side of things. He forced himself to sound a little more cheerful than he actually felt. "Still! I think it'll all work out for the best. Now - we should probably start looking for your son instead of standing around in here, ne?"

The man nodded at the first comment, wholly agreeing to what the other had said. "Indeed, haha! I took a bit to get used to working on the Silvana myself - not that it had been too hard, but the shift in life had taken a while for him to adapt. At least he was nicely used to it now, and in fact, he did quite enjoy the life - aside from the things that frequently happened to him and the ship, of course.

He stopped in his mini train of thoughts at the voice, and Isshin perked up to the light-haired man with a smile. "Ah, right! Of course!" Finding his son was his number one priority, after all~

Braska held the infirmary door open for Isshin to go first. "You lead for now - you'll have to tell me where you looked so far." He had to admit, it was definitely nice to talk shop, as it were, with someone much like himself. He liked his new home, but a lot of the crew were younger than he was, so he had mostly kept to himself so far. He gave the other man a small grin. "Any hints for adjusting?"

"Ah, right," Isshin started, making his way out of the infirmary and into the many hallways of the theatre ship. It really was quite grand, how such a ship could be so wonderful and magnificent at the same time.

Starting down on a random hallway, the man perked up at the next question. "Adjusting? Ah... all I have to say is get to know the crew well! They'll definitely make your life on the ship more easier one way or another, since you'll be living and working with them at the same time."
