This had overall been a very successful day. The hot springs were a lot of fun, especially after the stress lately, and what was more, the kitchen had been unguarded at just the right moment for Milk to pop into her true form, break into the pantry, and drag off a small bag of sweets. Now in her human form so she could carry them easier, she was sneaking down the hall with her back against the wall, hoping not to be noticed.

This was in all fact very noticeable.

"That's because I made it myself," she said proudly. "Or did you mean the chocolate? You'll have to ask the kitchen staff if you want your own." Never mind that she hadn't asked.

"I meant the mirror, of course," the man responded with a small chuckle, "But those chocolates look pretty good do!" He paused then, a thoughtful expression crossing over his face as he pondered over the offer. "Maybe I will ask if I have the time."

"At least you appreciate my work." Kurumi smiled, though under her breath she was muttering, "Unlike some people."

"Hm?" Isshin started, blinking at the barely heard mutter that managed to catch the corner of his hearing. "Did you say something, Kurumi-chan?"

"Not really!" She sweatdropped. "Just thinking about some things. Ahaha, wait, shouldn't you be getting to whatever you were doing here?" And she could get back to picking up the dropped candies and sneaking them back to her room.

The man blinked once before it got to him what she was saying - ah yes, his son! He still needed to find him!

"Ah, of course!" Isshin started, breaking into another grin. "Thank you for reminding me, Kurumi-chan! I still need to find my son!" Saying that, the man started to glance around once more - now where could Ichigo be...?
