Content: The new doctor on board heads to the infirmary to investigate his new place of work.
Setting: The Infirmary of the Fiertia.
Time: After his arrival, obviously. A day or two after The Long Night.
Warnings: A miserable old man belittling a nice young girl?
An airship. Hm.
Well, if he'd thought to look ahead to his future back when he was a younger man, he would never have imagined that he'd be working as a Doctor on an airship, of all places. It wasn't a bad thing, per se, but he did rather think that, after all of this time, he'd left the medical profession far behind him when he'd joined the ShinRa laboratories.
Still, when your laboratory and place of work closes due to cut funding and is subsequently unceremoniously sold off, beggars simply couldn't be choosers, could they?
He didn't care for a tour of the ship. The layout was easily discovered in blueprints and, if he wanted those, he would head up to the Records Room later on. As it was, he just wanted to see the infirmary and investigate what and who he had to work with before he got settled into his cabin and, as such, wasn't yet dressed in his laboratory coat. He, needless to say, did not knock before he entered.
