As luck would have it, though perhaps the luck was tipped more in the favour of Hikari than Luppi, the effeminate little cabin boy was creeping around the kitchen area. He should have known it was a bad idea to skive off there given the journal post by that sick passenger, but he wasn't having a very smart day.

He'd hoped that his avoiding his duties would make him unrecognisable to the crew at large, but he had a feeling that he was hoping for too much. His distinctive appearance gave him away far too easily but even as he slipped by the kitchen, he didn't expect to he caught.

Hikari stepped out of the kitchen, looked around, and - oh, somebody was right there! She didn't really know him (she'd definitely remember who looked that ...unique), but he didn't look too busy. Well, it couldn't hurt to ask...

"Hello there!" she announced, stepping behind him.

He jumped. Oh, and it was a guilty 'I shouldn't be creeping around here' jump. His shoulders arched, he bared his teeth in a grimace and his hands contracted into a claw-like shape, even if they were hidden by his sleeves.

"Uh..." He turned around slowly, allowing his shoulders to very slowly sink back to their normal position. "Hi."

Oh dear, she didn't mean to spook the boy (and he was a boy, wasn't he? Most boys didn't wear hair clips like that, but, well, that didn't stop Zhang He now did it?). Still, Hikari wasn't too worried; it certainly didn't take him long to calm down, after all. So no harm was done, right?

"I'm sorry about that," she said, with a sheepish smile on her face. "But are you busy? I need some help with one of the passengers - it will only take a moment, I promise."
