mid-morning, before he goes out to train flight_15 December 7 2009, 16:42:06 UTC
"Hey, you!" a voice called from the top of the stairs that led down into the ship. Ichigo had his sword slung over his shoulder, dressed in comfortable clothes. He'd been planning to head out to the desert to get some training done, but had spotted this person wandering around wide-eyed like he'd never seen an airship before. "What're you doing here?" he asked, approaching Don Quixote. "You lost or something, old man?"

"Ah, a fellow knight!" Quixote exclaimed, noting with satisfaction the sword that the strapping young fellow carried. Though Ichigo was not armored, he must still be a knight to carry such a weapon. "It does my heart good to see that other noble men have come to aide these poor performers in their hour of greatest need. Or are you perhaps already one of their staunch defenders?" His rusty armor clattered as Don Quixote extended a hand in friendship. "I am known as Don Quixote de la Mancha. And what might I call you, good sir?"

Knight? Was this guy nuts? Or did he just not realize he wasn't in Erealia anymore? You'd think he could get better armor, at least, Ichigo thought.

Wait, what the hell was this guy even saying? "You're here to help?" Ichigo said dubiously. He wouldn't exactly turn down someone else to help them out, though. He reached out and took the hand. "Ichigo Kurosaki," he replied, shaking the hand. "Yeah, I'm part of the crew," he said, deciphering what the man was saying. Though he wouldn't exactly call his recent defending staunch.... That was why he was training, after all.

"Sir Kurosaki, then!" The old knight relaxed patted the hilt of his own weapon as though he were patting the shoulder of an old friend. "It is my duty to lend my aide to those less fortunate, and when I heard of your distress here, I made a vow to my lady that I would help for as long as I am needed here. You have but to give the word." A gentle smile graced his weary face just then. "I do admit, though, that I am tired from my journey. Might I request your assistance in the location of a place where I might rest my head here on the Winding Way?"
