The hunt was on.

Edgeworth strode through the lower quarter and ignored the filth and decay around him. He cared nothing for the crumbling buildings or the miserable people who shuffled through the streets; he didn't have time for their problems. The only thing that concerned him was the arrest of one Yuri Lowell.

The information Edgeworth had on Yuri's checkered past - and the fugitive's own public post - led him to this miserable locale. There were only a few places he presumed Yuri would be bold enough to risk his freedom to visit, and these decrepit neighborhoods was the only one he could think of. His eyes narrowed as he looked for signs of him, and stopped as soon as he saw a flash of black clothing and long purple hair.

He looked back at his men and nodded, before he stepped over. The time was now.

"Good evening, Captain Lowell," he said, his clear, neutral voice and cold face a contrast to what should have been a friendly greeting.

Delita had volunteered almost on a whim.

He had been resting on his haunches as of late, doing his duties but staying out of the spotlight. After his rather embarrassing display well back when the mages attacked, he decided staying in the background, rebuilding his reputation as one dependable and without the excessive drama many of his fellow officers attracted, was the wise choice.

But this was his chance to get back into good graces.

Still, he had to admit to a dull pain at seeing this place. In his own way he and Lowell had come from similar circumstances. Young men clawing their way up from squalor and biases. It was almost depressing what duty called for now.

Delita Heiral was not one to dwell on sympathy or mercy though. Someone had to be cut down for the other to rise up, after all. It was just the way of the world.

And so, when Edgeworth nodded, he followed in his footsteps, hand on his blade and playing his part as muscle and solid support.

Sephiroth ignored the area around him. The lower areas were filthy and disgusting, but he didn't necessarily mind it all. No, he had seen it all before. The slums in any place were always the same, no matter what city one was stationed in.

He sighed and merely leaned against the wall, arms folded and jacket fluttering slightly. He kept an eye on Yuri, make no mistake about that, but he wasn't about to rush in just yet. He'd let Edgeworth do all the talking for now. Sephiroth was a patient man and Masamune's reach was long.

And so, Sephiroth waited.

It was hard to miss Edgeworth and company stalking towards him, but Yuri tried his very best. He only openly glanced at them once, and kept walking, keeping a sidelong eye on them.

Yuri had a pretty good idea why they were there - von Karma had dug up his records, or just sent out a brute squad on trumped up charges. Either way, his smarming at von Karma had finally come back to bite him.

He glanced over and slowed as Edgeworth caught up to him. "Didn't expect to see guys like you in a place like this." Yuri had left his axe back on the ship, so he kept a wary eye on the weapons visible, glad he'd at least remembered to put on his brass knuckles.
