It was time for breakfast, and that meant that Dimo was going to head out into Colvus to pick up something a bit fresher than what they currently had in the stores of the 4423's galley. Anthy was a marvelous cook and all, but fresh eggs and perhaps some sausages and fruits were in order for him and his wounded comrades in the infirmary. Maxim especially would likely complain about Dimo making a fuss over him, but with a good, hearty breakfast to eat, that complaining would at least be muffled.

After pulling on his battered brown boots and setting his hat at a jaunty angle on his head, the Jäger opened the door to his room, and very nearly ran into a little girl who looked frightened. "Hey dere," he said, crouching down and shutting his door carefully, "iz hyu a new member of de crew vhat I hazn't met yet, sveethot?"

Kisa was trapped. In front of her and her escape was the girl, and to her side was another pirate, a scary looking one at that. She had nowhere else to go...

She looked down at her apple, and sniffed slightly. Maybe if she gave the food back they would let her go. She stepped back a bit and held out the piece of fruit, her shoulders slumped apologetically as she shook. They might still kill her if they found out she had hidden in their food stores, but at least if she gave some back the chances slimmed down a little.

Komachi blinked at the apple as Kisa held it out. "Um...I don't want your apple. You can keep it."

"Stop looking at me like that! I'm not going to hurt you." The girl was looking really frightened now - which Komachi supposed wasn't surprising, with Dimo showing up. If Kisa was scared of Komachi, Dimo probably wasn't the best person to have show up... "And nor's he." she added, as an afterthought.

"I ain't gonna hurt hyu, dollink," Dimo said softly, trying not to show quite as many fangs as he knew that he had. "I mean, look--I izn't hurting Komachi, und she's been on de ship longer den hyu haz. Vhat's hyu name den, eh?" He stretched out one large, clawed hand to show her that he held no weapons, or anything else of the sort.

Kisa stared at the hand and gulped slightly as the sun reflected in the claws. Quickly she stuck the apple into his hand And backed away a bit more from the two of them, glancing from side to side at the two of them. Now that she had gotten rid of the food, she spent a bit more time thinking about what they were saying...they really didn't seem like they were going to hurt her...yet. That could help in case someone like the captain of the ship wanted to rip her limb from limb for stowing away...

Still, she didn't dare speak. The only clue that she was a bit more comfortable with them around was that her eyes began to dry up some. As for the man's question, well...she bit down on both of her lips to show she wasn't going to give out her name, especially not her last name. Too dangerous.

"You don't want to tell us?"
Komachi chewed on her lower lip, wondering how to get the girl to stop looking quite so worried. "Well, I guess that's okay. Like Dimo said, my name's Komachi."

Kisa gave a little nod to Komachi. A small shaky smile appeared on her face...the fact that they hadn't hurt her yet was a good sign that they would be okay; even the one named Dimo seemed to be nice. She shifted from foot to foot, looking out towards the docks. She wasn't so desperate to get off as long as there were a couple of nice people around...Quickly Kisa made up her mind, scurrying over to a corner where a bit of dust had collected and tracing out a few letters.

K...I...S...A

She stood to face the other two, pointed at the letters, and then at herself with a little nod and smile. Talking to the strangers would still be a stretch, but she could always write it out for them.

Shy. Very, very shy. Well, his youngest sister had been the same way, and Dimo was nothing if not patient when it came to kids, having had six siblings of his own growing up. The poor thing looked starved, and that never boded well for the young. "Kisa, den?" Dimo asked without expecting a response. "Hyu hungry, keed?"

He suspected that the answer would be yes.

Kisa let out a tiny gasp and jumped behind Komachi, crouching down and peering out over the girls shoulder. She trembled slightly...he had just lunged out in front of her out of nowhere! She couldn't believe that he had gone unnoticed until he was so close.

She bit down on her lip and ducked down further...she didn't want him to grab her.

"Oggie!" Dimo exclaimed, clapping his old friend on the back and laughing heartily. "It zeems ve gots a stowavay here. Don't know vhere she came from, to be honest." Not that it really mattered much to the Jager anyway. They could always use more help around the ship, and Kisa looked to be a clever girl, even if she didn't talk much. "Her name's Kisa, und ve's heading out to breakfast at Lydia Shaney's place. Vanna come along?" Of course, he knew full well that he'd likely end up paying for Ognian's portion as well, but he was in good spirits, and wanted to share this morning.

"Hyu don't gots to be afraid, dollink. Oggie here's a goot friend of mine. Ve goes vay, vaaaaay back."

Kisa gave a small nod and glanced to the both of them. They did act sort of similar...so maybe he would be okay.

Nevertheless, she kept hiding behind Komachi, poking her head out slightly so stare at the two curiously. She was about to come out when her stomach growled, and she ducked down further in embarrassment. Hard to stretch boundaries with hunger.

"Morning, Oggie!" Komachi chirped, waving at the Jager even more friendlily than she would usually have done, mostly for Kisa's benefit - to prove that they were all nice people (well, in a manner of speaking). At least Kisa seemed to have firmly accepted her as safe, which was nice.

She giggled slightly at Kisa's rumbling stomach. "You really do sound hungry, huh? Guess we'd better get a move on."

Mamori stood on the deck, enjoying the morning breeze and view of the dock, which wasn't much to look at, but still, provided some entertainment. She hasn't been to Colvus before, and the range of oppotunities was quite wide.
As she turned to look away, she notice a small girl sneek out of the ship. The girl looked scared, so Mamori approached slowly trying not to frighten her too much.
"Hello, dear. Are you alright? Can I help you?"

Kisa jumped and plastered herself against the wall. After the breakfast that she had with the others, the last thing she wanted was to be hugged or touched or...
"...O-oh...it's a girl..." She examined her warily. Another member of the crew, she guessed. She had been told she could stay by the others, but it was a pirate ship...these people could be very dangerous. Cautiously she held up a hand and gave the tiniest wave imaginable.
