And out of that magnificent sunlight that almost blinded the poor girl came a head of flame red hair, in its shocking style. He shouted back at.. seemed to be like someone. Well actually something. His small dragon, now at least reaching his past his knees now, due to all the meat and foods he had eaten ever since he hatched, was standing on the deck, his feet shifting uneasily. He looked at Axel pleadingly but he pointed back to the ship, telling Ifrit to return back to the forge. The last thing he wanted was the natives of Colvus to freak out about a dragon walking around
( ... )
Quietly, Kid followed the guy with her eyes until he was a lot closer. He seemed... so familiar. Where had she seen him before? Flame red hair... tattoos under his eyes. Skinny as a damn rod (not that she could talk; the wind could probably snap her in half) and-- wait. Wait a minute!
"Oi!" she called out loudly, breaking into a small jog to catch up to him before he got too far off the dock. Not that she wouldn't be able to chase him, since she probably could, but why chase when you can yell? A few people around glanced up in surprise from the volume of her outburst, but tch, she had more important things to worry about than a couple of bystanders being irritated by her raising her voice.
Axel stopped, seeing a few people ahead of him turn their heads towards the source of the voice. He grunted with a curious sound before he turned and looked over his shoulder. The red head could make out a blond running up.. towards him. He squinted his eyes, trying to register who was running at him. His lips soon flinched into a smile as he faced the girl and pushed through the crowd, to meet her half way. Well, he didn't run but, he at least made an effort with his striding long legs.
He came to a stop, at a reasonable distance of 'half way between them'. "Heh, never thought I'd see you in a place like this." he said, his hands rested on his hips.
"I could say the same to you, mate," the thief shot back as she slowed to a stop, arms flying up to cross over her chest. "You just come off that pirate ship, then?" He didn't seem the type to just wanna go for a stroll around a bunch of docked ships. At least, not when it was crowded like it was, but she'd spotted him between the people, so that had to mean something.
As she waited for him to reply, she tried to remember his name. She was sure it started with A.
