Toph really couldn't play most games, since they involved sight, so, like always, she took up a place near the food. Even if she didn't eat a bunch, if she wanted to talk to people this was the best place. Everyone went for food at a party.

Luppi was one of them.

Although he'd been drafted in to help out, he figured that he could get away with getting some nom-time in as a reward for his efforts. As such, he'd made his way over to the food table to pick at the nibbles.

She wasn't even looking in Luppi's general direction, but she sensed him heading for the food. "Don't eat the candy apples unless you want to use silverware," Toph warned, rubbing her hands furiously with a damp cloth (that she totally talked a cabin boy into getting for her). "They're even messier than normal."

"I don't like Candy Apples." Luppi said, picking up some of the savoury food as opposed to the vast array of sweeties laid out. "They're bad for your teeth."

Keeping your teeth in good order was a top priority for a narcissist in training.

He wondered if he knew the voice of the girl. He was sure he'd never spoken to her before since he'd only seen her around the ship fleetingly, while he was working extremely hard on avoiding his chores, so he figured that he must have spoken to her over the network at some point.

...well! This was a nice setup. Hinamori had helped a little, so she felt somewhat accomplished. And the colors were nice too!

Even if... she liked the pink a little more than the purple. But that couldn't be helped.

She'd decided to dress up a little; while she wasn't being too flashy, she was wearing a nice, light pink, long-sleeved dress and the boots she hadn't gotten a chance to wear since she'd gotten on the ship. She worried that she was actually a little too dressy, although it did feel pretty nice to be elegant for once.

Sara hadn't dressed up at all, still wearing her uniform. Emily, on the other hand, was wearing a nice, dark-coloured dress that Sara had gotten for Lunasa, with ribbons tied in her hair. The girl and her doll sat awkwardly on a bench in the corner, but the former nodded at Hinamori upon seeing her.

Now.. let's see... there were a lot of things to do. She could probably do everything before the night was out, actually, but-

Ah! There was... Sara, right?

"Hey, Sara!" said Hinamori, walking up to her with a smile, then noticing the elegantly dressed doll beside the other girl. "Wow, that's a really nice doll you have!"

Sara looked up at her and nodded. "Emily is mine. I found her in a storeroom." She paused, wondering if it would be all right to say something else, but decided against it for the time being.

It had felt so long since the last time the Silvana crew members had managed to unwind and cool their heels, Watson thought not to miss the party. The infirmary had somehow been entirely scrubbed clean and rearranged, and most of the smaller, broken items replaced. All that remained was the freezer, but that was to come later.

For now, he had decided to join the merriment, donning his best frock coat, vest, and trousers for the occasion. He stood at the corner, having already retrieved a glass of the alcohol for himself and content in watching the rest of the men and ladies of the ship enjoy themselves.

Kazuki entered the fray, seeming to weave almost effortlessly through groups of people. When his eyes finally fell on Watson, he could not help but smile. He had not been exaggerating over the journals. The older man's company had been much missed, and perhaps it was unseemly, but Kazuki did not think so; pushing himself up on the balls of his feet to wrap the other in a light embrace by way of greeting, and then releasing him just as quickly.

"Hello, John," he said, smiling up at the man as if nothing had just happened. "You look very fine this evening."

Watson had put a hand on Kazuki's waist automatically at the light embrace, thinking nothing more of it because mulling on such things about Kazuki was only bound to lead to headaches and the same conclusion. No, better skip that part.

"Kazuki," he replied with warmth in his voice, hand slipping to the younger man's elbow, a small touch of intimacy. "Thank you, and you as well."

Kazuki looked fine... Watson hadn't doubted that he would fare through the Lunasa poltergeist with no problems, but he was a doctor and as such was inclined to fuss.

"Ah! Welcome, welcome! So far it seems nearly everyone who said they would come has arrived. It brings me joy to know that our beautiful crew wishes to increase their morale and even mingle a little!" Zhang He offered a smile before nodding. "I hope everything is fine so far?"

Nikolas had promised to attend and make sure drinks were on hand, so he turned up in short order, out of uniform for once and looking about as relaxed as he ever did--which was to say not very.

Still, he was there. There was some merit to be had in making himself at least vaguely approachable to the rest of the crew, after all. He stopped long enough to get a drink before finding himself a place along the periphery where he could keep an eye on everything.

At first the quartermaster had issues recognizing the man. It was odd seeing him casual. He approached with the usual flamboyant nature, as if he had any other.

"I'm glad you showed up! I doubt many would stay around long enough without the drinks," Zhang He offered a small smile as he finished.

Kazuki was not exactly inconspicuous in all his finery. His outfit was not unlike the one he'd worn to the celebration after the races, but he wore blue this time. The records keeper had been looking forward to the party after the events of the past few weeks. It was not in his nature to stay confined to his quarters, and waiting for the ghost problem to be taken care of has been considerably dull.

Noting the decorations, Kazuki smiled. Pink and purple were fine. He rather liked both colors.

"Kazuki! It's really been to long!" Zhang He smiled at the other man. He remembered their past talks. Really, he sword Kazuki was the only other man on board with any appreciation for true beauty. A shame it was, too, that there were so few of them. Zhang He tilted his head, waving his hands out. "Welcome~."

Hearing his name called, Kazuki turned and smiled warmly when he saw who'd called it. He made his way to where Zhang He stood and took both of the man's hands into his own, squeezing lightly by way of greeting.

He may have spent most of his life in a dangerous slum, but the manners he'd been raised with were not so easily forgotten.

"Hello, quartermaster. It has indeed. Have you been well?"

He squeezed back briefly before smiling. It really was nice to see so many people in attendance. Ah, and a majority of them to seem to be just fine from the attack! Wonderful!!

"Outside of recent events, just beautiful! And you?"
