For the Jager or Leo! Uh, first come first serve? neme_morifacias October 20 2009, 17:11:36 UTC
Sephiroth didn't even bother to get out of his pilot uniform once he landed in the hanger. He needed to be quick and worrying about clothing was the furthest from his mind. He simply removed his helmet, letting his hair fall out, though it stayed in the tie, and chucked it to the floor. He retrieved his sword from the cockpit and quickly ran to the desk.

"Tch," He scoffed, it was already swarmed with pirates. He couldn't see Zack anywhere and he hoped he never will. Sephiroth also dimly hoped that he didn't see him in the brig either. But as he told Zack, he wasn't going to hold back. Masamune flew through the air, the metal whistling as it dealt with the pirates.

And now, they seemed to be at a deadlock. Interesting. "Either we both let go or we stay like this. Personally, I prefer the former," Sephiroth grunted, his sword wasn't much use now. He could still use his magic, using lightening magic at such close quarters was risky, even for him.

"Goot point!" she laughed, seeming to think about the issue for a moment. She could still bite, of course, but then again she'd rather not get a lightning blast in the face. For all she knew he was immune to the effects of his own magic at close range.

She pushed away from him suddenly, taking a step back and turning to disentangle her blade from his, then continued into a full turn and swung at him from the other side, grinning over the clang of steel.

"By the vay, Zack says hello!"

Sephiroth grunted as he blocked. "Does he? Then he delivered my message."

Once parried and swung his blade, quickening his movement again to try and get the best of her. He wasn't sure how long this would last. They were both quite evenly matched.

"Vell, he tried." she laughed as she blocked two strikes in quick succession, her reflexes keeping up with her opponent's speed. "I think ve took it the wrong vay." She was fairly sure Zack was honestly trying to warn them about a dangerous opponent, but what reaction did he expect from a bunch of pirates?? Having gained a little fame on the 4423, Sephiroth would only find more of them coming his way.

"Didn't tell us your name, though."

"So I see," Sephiroth said, taking a few steps back as he blocked and parried her own blows. It was like a dance for the two of them, the way they just fought and even spoke in the midst of a rather deadly battle.

"I prefer to remain anonymous."

Jenka wasn't one for dancing (luckily, the Castle had never decided she needed to learn) but this was far more enjoyable - enjoyable the way nothing that didn't threaten immediate death could be. She was a creature made for violence: even her earliest childhood memories included the background clang of swords. The steel, the screams, the scent of blood made her feel entirely at home, and it showed in the ease of her movements and the carefree sound of her laugh as she slashed, dodged, parried, attacked again.

The flow of battle pushed the two of them closer to the front of the ship, and it was obvious that something was wrong when she stiffened and growled threateningly. Detecting that scent made her angry before she was even consciously aware of it, and it broke her concentration for a split second.

[ooc: and Jenka remembers Vole is here. Old enemies...]

Sephiroth was quick to detect the lack of concentration for that split moment and his sword arced downward, ready to slice her down from shoulder down.

[Would she be running off now or...?]

Jenka's parry was only an eye-blink late, just in time to keep the sword from hitting bone. The damage wasn't serious - by her standards at least - but the pain did not help her self-control.

"Gots somevun to kill" she growled half-intelligibly over her shoulder before vaulting the railing back to her own ship. She hadn't been planning on looking for Vole, but unexpectedly sensing him in the middle of an already bloody battle turned out too much for her to do anything but follow her hunting instinct. There was the pleasure of a good fight, and then there was blinding rage.

[Yup, running off now. Suddenly, impolitely and without saying goodbye. She'll remember him though! &hearts]

[Haha, have fun~]

Sephiroth grunted and frowned when she up and left, vaulting to the next ship. He had no desire to follow her, however, so he didn't. But who could she have seen that caused her to leave the battle?

He shook his head, it wasn't his business. Sephiroth turned and ran towards the other fights. He needed to find Zack.

This was not Mifune's ideal battleground. The wind on deck prevented him from properly using his Infinite One-Sword style, as it would simply blow the swords away if he launched them to get it started. He was limited to only the swords he could hold in his hands, which made him feel like he was fighting with one arm behind his back.

He spotted that silver-haired swordsman that Zack had warned them about. Indeed, his skill was fairly impressive, even if the sheer size of his blade seemed impractical. He was making short work of some of Mifune's crewmates.

It was past time for Mifune to step in there. He reached around back to his case of swords, and drew one. With a single smooth motion, he launched it towards Sephiroth, whistling through the air with deadly intent.

Sephiroth was quickly and quickly spun around, his sword following him gracefully. The long sword smacked into the flying projectile and swiped it away as if it were a mere toy. The wind on the deck blowing his hair madly around him even tied up, his bangs flying everywhere. But his cold, glowing cat-like eyes stared hard into the man across the deck.

"Content at throwing swords, rather than using them properly?" Sephiroth asked, his low voice echoing and carried with the wind.

Pheh. Mifune figured that that wouldn't take him out so easily. It was just a probing of his defenses, a quick test to see how Sephiroth would respond. And Mifune could tell: this was no opponent to be taken lightly.

He spit out the skewer he was chewing on, and raised the sword he still held in his hand, pointing it towards the silver-haired soldier. "Come on, then," he said.

"Tch," Sephiroth grunted, raising his sword near his head, holding it with both hands. Then, he pushed off the deck, running fast toward the pirate.

The sword was suddenly in his left-handed grip and swinging.

Mifune met Sephiroth's charge head-on, gripping his katana tightly in both hands. He parried the blow and deflected it off to the side. He took a step back to buy himself room, and then swung upwards, towards Sephiroth's face.

This man was stronger than he looked, Sephiroth noted. The deflection was not something most normal humans could do, after all. But it was of no matter. Not right now.

Sephiroth was quick jump back and avoid the blade before coming back, placing both hands on the hilt and swinging upward himself. The long blade didn't even require him to move forward.
