Sai had been sitting in his tree in relative quiet. That is, as quiet as you'd expect it to be with the little wildlife around. He found it somewhat calming, sat with his knees bought into his chest, a large, open scroll laid open across them. He'd not had enough of the ship, far from it, but he'd never been to this place before, and it was strangely scenic from his point of view ( ... )

Busy, but not distracted, Ulquiorra was more than aware of everything around him. He knew, for instance, that there was somebody in the vicinity and he had a good idea of just how close they were. Still, their presence was, for the time being, entirely negligible. They weren't bothering him or his training and they were showing no signs of being threatening just yet.

Still, he was interested in learning more about that strange energy... He'd not felt anything like it before. He knew it was best to be cautious, judging by the reception the mouse had gotten, so after gathering his things, he slipped off his branch as quietly as he could, landing with a gentle thud.On this level, he could see the person that had to be responsible for the noise at first and then second, the energy blast. He thought to himself that at least he was right about one thing... Although, as he made his way quietly through the trees, taking his time as to not startle him into making another attack, he thought he recognised the figure ( ... )

The Espada was difficult to startle, that was for sure. Wrapped up in his training though he appeared, he was aware enough of his surroundings to expect the thud after the subtle scrape and rustle sounded through the trees. Well, he was part bat after all ( ... )
