He sauntered up the deck, a little more constrained than normal in a combination of his one shirt and pants (no way he'd wear his yukata up here) and that Seta guy's clothes. And there was a woman he hadn't met yet sitting on the gangplank. It had to be that Sekai girl. He was surprised she'd made it there on time; she didn't seem like the kind of girl who'd follow up. "You look ready, kid."

She had to say, he looked a little older than she pictured him due to his voice, but he looked intimidating enough. At least when they went out to grab some intel, he could get the prospective creeps away from her. That would be a relief. The only thing more annoying than dealing with creeps is dealing with them when you have work to do.
"Just say the word and we'll be on our way, I guess. It's nice to at least be able to do something other than sit around on the ship, though, I have to tell you."

He strode down the plank, starting to get his bearings. Kojuuro had said that village was on the north side of town, so they needed to head that way. He hoped Sekai could keep up. Kid seemed enthusiastic enough about it, but being shut up in the radio room most of the day, a lot of guys got lazy. "Seems like no one has any idea where this guy is. Lowell gave me a description but unless we go into every house in town that's not gonna be enough."

This wasn't the sort of operation where she could just hide, take note of the names being tossed about, and then go from there. They were here to do a job, and lollygagging wasn't exactly going to get it done.
