Although he would never, ever, EVER admit it, Raidou had deliberately changed his routine patrol with someone else in order to roam around during the races. The boy detective looked on, with awe, as the pilots prepared themselves, and caught, of course, the familiar figure of Kyouya Hibari just before the man hopped into the cockpit of his plane.

Theirs was an interesting story, but not one Raidou would tell to just anyone. Nonetheless, the boy smiled, and quietly offered a prayer for luck in the other's favor. He then continued roaming, occasionally stopping to see how the race was coming along.

"Four, I believe. Our Captain is included."

Raidou smiled at that.

"Your captain?" Naoto repeated. "Is he the competitive type?"

"I honestly cannot tell. He does not really go out of the way to relate with any of us on the Silvana."

Although he was surprised that the man entered at all. He did not seem like the type to do such things, competitive or not.

It was kind of the opposite of Captain Yuri. The man was warm and friendly towards his crew.

Raidou turned to his cousin with a smile.

"Let's go for drinks?"
