Content: First meetings, a game of chess, and (relatively) civil conversation over a cup of tea that may not actually be tea.
Setting: On board the Victoria II
Time: Various times in the past, starting from two years ago.
Warnings: Another funky format log, similar to the one with Joshua and Isshin. Each new thread is another moment in time, in chronological order from the previous. You'll basically be looking at snippets of Edgeworth and Joshua interactions over the time they've known each other.
Two years ago, Joshua stood upon the ramp to the veritable flagship of Ivona's airship fleet, the Victoria II, with luggage on a handy set of wheels. Two years ago, Joshua shielded his eyes against the sun, trying to get a good look at the Victoria II, and gazed upon the military ship's austere majesty, basking in its unadulterated glory.
Two years ago, Joshua thought the Victoria II looked like it was compensating for something.
He was only just beginning his travels all over Reial, expanding his visited cities list from Ivona first. The Winding Way had been quite the merry-making lot, but hanging around the same people all the time got tiresome; Joshua wanted to see what other airships had to offer him. And the Victoria II, an airship as different in goals to the Winding Way as one could get, seemed like a perfect choice. Even better that they accepted passengers on board!
Which brought him to the First Mate's office, looking for the one he was supposed to pay his fare to board the Victoria II as a passenger.
