Characters: Synchron fon Elemni and Rolo Lamperouge.
Content: The two confront each other after the battle and... catch up like old war buddies. Except not.
Setting: Some random hallway below the Victoria II's deck.
Time: A little after the VII's confrontation with the 4423.
Warnings: Cursing, violence, and shotas. The usual stuff.
Sync hadn't expected anything spectacular from his first battle, but that wasn't to say he wasn't mildly surprised with the outcome. From what he had heard back in the Academy the Victoria II was an unstoppable ship that brought down anything in its path. To find out that such claims were greatly exaggerated was rather disappointing, but reality had the tendency to do that.
He'd been reviewing his crew mate's entries for the past hour, skimming through the posts and taking note of how Lt. Commander Hijikata issued his orders to their gunners.
Incompetent fools. Just where the hell were they at a time like this?
At least they managed to get a hit in, though Sync wasn't quite enthusiastic about giving Rolo a bit of undeserving praise. To him the teen's 'accomplishment' was rather minimal, and if it weren't for the fact that no one else had been there with him then his efforts would have appeared as mundane as if he'd done nothing at all.
