Characters: Cloud, Zack, other visitors Content: Zack and Cloud, old colleagues, are reunited! Setting: Cloud's workshop Time: Midday Warnings: To be announced?
Zack wandered down into the hold of the ship, not entirely sure of the exact location where Cloud is but knowing he was going in the right direction at least. He'd only been down there once as a sort of a self-tour he did by himself when he first joined up with the 4223. Usually he was busy in the radio room learning the radio encryptions.
Scratching the back of his head as he walked, Zack wondered just what exactly he was going to tell Cloud. A 'Hi, we used to be best buds and a lot of things happened and we kinda got separated... Oh, stay away from Ivona military 'cause they're evil and experimented on you' was just...awkward and weird.
Spotting a likely looking door, he knocked on it, hoping that it was Cloud's place and not someone else's quarters or just plain empty.
The entrance to Cloud's quarters was fairly conspicuous; he was one of the few with a set of double-doors leading into his room. Not that he warranted special treatment, but with his 'room' being a workshop, it was necessary for bringing in larger pieces of equipment or materials. With knocking on the thin metal of the door, Cloud heard the echoing sound and his head perked up quickly from being bent down in his work. Straightening up, he paced towards the door and placed his hand on the handle to open it, but immediately paused with his fingers lanced around the metal surface

Zack had started wondering if he was just looking really stupid for knocking on the door of an empty room when the door opened to reveal the softly smiling face of the very person he'd been looking for. Zack was relieved to see that smile; it meant that no matter what happened, that part of Cloud hadn't changed at least.
"Hey Cloud, it's been awhile." He greeted the other with his usual grin on his face as he looked around the room that was definitely larger than his, and filled with much more stuff. Zack took a few steps further inside as he took in the various pieces of equipment and materials scattered here and there.
"So...how've you been?"
It definitely wasn't his best conversation starter, but they've got to start somewhere, right?
Cloud, unable to help but chuckle a little, knew full well how silly it was to think it possible to open the conversation in any 'easy' way. To say that it had 'been awhile', though, was something he would have to take Zack's word by. Cloud looked into his energetic eyes and at his tell-tale grin for a moment and felt himself swallowed by nostalgia that he was at a great loss to explain. That feeling alone made this meeting much easier
