Gai hadn't been silent for this long in years. He hoped that this would wear off eventually, and not just for him; it would be awful if Miss Greta's blindness was lasting!

He was armed with a fire extinguisher, and trying to put out the fire Greta's pet had started. He was making some progress on it, but he wasn't sure the extinguisher would last; he might have to start running buckets of water...

Someone was approaching now, and he didn't seem quite with it. Gai tried to call out a warning, and then remembered that he couldn't speaking. He got in Delita's path and began making vigorous hand gestures, trying to warn him away from the fire.

Delita stopped as someone stepped in his path. He blinked, his blank eyes trying to focus, but nothing clicked. He didn't recognize the man, and the smell of fire and burning bodies filled his nose. No time to think. No time.

Instead he snarled, bringing his blade up and pointing it at the other man. Just another warm body between him and his goal... whatever that was.

Gai jumped back when the sword was pointed at him. Whoooa, now. Clearly, this guy had him mistaken for somebody else. He flailed his arms about some more, shaking his head vigorously, and trying to get across that he was making a mistake.

If anything, the wild gestures only spurred his rage even more. Images of mages chanting and summoning fire and lighting down to stop him flashed in his head.

'Cut down the support' he thought, his scowl twisting into a hateful smirk. Oh no, not today. They would all die for this. Every one. With that thought in mind he darted forward, screaming.
