"Coming."

Setting aside the bandages she'd been rolling, Penelo stood and opened the door to the infirmary. "Yes--oh gods, what happened to Komachi!?"

Seeing a young crew member unconscious and bleeding was not what she wanted to see first thing when she opened a door.

Jenka lifted an eyebrow at the woman's panicked voice. Humans... She had disliked human medics when she was Komachi's age, and they didn't seem to have gotten any better since then. There was nothing wrong with the child, really.

"Ve vos practicink" she shrugged. "Hyu mind if I put her down somevere?"

"Practicing?" Penelo cried, ushering Jenka and Komachi over to a cot. "You Jaegers have an odd sense of what's practice and what's not. What happened?"

Ignoring the complaint, Jenka gave Penelo a terse damage report. Even before noting such details became second nature on the battlefield, she had learned what the medics needed to know from all her and her playmates' childhood injuries.

Pointing to Komachi: "Stable. Clean knife vound through de leg, no arteries or tendons damaged. Passed out from strangling, throat fine, bloodflow fine. Surface scratches, clean." For the sake of completeness, she added casually: "I gots a knife under de ribs und schtuff, but I'z fine." She was bleeding through the rough bandage, and paler than usual, but didn't seem impaired by the injury.
