Characters: Komachi and [OPEN] Content: Komachi wants a birthday party. You want to come. Don't you? Setting: A spare room near the 4423 kitchens Time: Early evening, 30th of March. Warnings: Hopefully, none.
Zack wandered near what he THOUGHT was the kitchen area, looking for the room the birthday party was to be held in. It was so nice to be invited to a party right after he joined! He hasn't had a chance to meet a lot of people onboard yet, but hopefully that will change soon.
Spotting flour foot prints leading to a door, he poked his head inside, hoping that it was the party room and not someone's change room.
Heihachi knew he should probably be re-evaluating their circumstances a little more, especially after their close call with an Ivonian execution block, but all he could feel was a fraternal sort of pride that the little girl he knew from the humble rice village of Kanna was having her tenth birthday on a pirate ship. He'd always been intrigued by her fearlessness, but sharing chocolate cake with thieves and murderers was pretty impressive.
He was tracking down the party by the faint scent of cake in the air - sickeningly sweet and perhaps a little burnt, but he'd be sure to eat them anyway - and found an unfamiliar dark haired man standing in the doorway.
"Hey there," he called with a friendly smile. "Here to congratulate the birthday girl?"
Zack half turned his head back when he heard the voice call out to him and realized he was blocking the door. "Oops. Sorry. Didn't mean to block door." He said cheerfully and moved sideways.
"And yup. I was just wandering if this was the right room."
Since Heihachi made a point to get to know everyone aboard, this particular crewmate had to be new. He was kind of surprised that people were still willing to risk work on this ship considering its near-miss with execution, but either the dark haired man had no short supply of courage or else he'd been desperate.
Or possibly he had an ulterior motive, but that kind of paranoid thinking was quickly shoved to the back of his mind.
"I think so. I can smell cake." He offered his hand first though, a bright smile on his face that didn't let any of his hesitance show. "I'm Heihachi, one of the mechanics. I don't think we've met."
Unsure of his place in the crew, Allen had been undecided as to whether attending a pirates party was a good idea or not, but the smell of cakes drifting down the hallway was just too tempting to pass up. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to meet people, perhaps even make a friend.
Since right now he was flat out broke, Allen hadn't brought a present as such, however he would happilly offer up some tumbling trick or circus skills as entertainment. For now though, the white haired young man wandered into the room with a small smile, and tried not to go straight to the food (no matter how tempting it might be).
