Jushirou did need to spend a little extra time readying himself then usual to wonder about in this particular town. On top of trying to wear something that wasn't his usual attire, he also had to wrap his face in a cowl in order to obscure himself. Tensions were still high here, after all, and he didn't want to take any chances.
He eventually met Toshirou on the deck, giving him a friendly wave and a smile evident with his eyes. "Shall we then?"
Toshirou was a little taken aback at the cowl covering Jushirou's face but then he remembered where they were and it made sense. He couldn't believe he'd forgotten something like that. The corners of his mouth twitched, threatening to turn into a smile as he watched the older man walk up to him.
"Book stores or tea shops first?" He asked giving Jushirou the choice of where he wanted to go. Toshirou really didn't care which one they went to first, just as long as they got off the ship and he got to spend some time with the older man.
"I could greatly go for a fresh cup of chamomile with honey right about now, so to the tea shop first," Jushirou said with a bright grin, though only his eyes could indicate as such. A wonderful thing he had such expressive eyes then. He walks past Toshirou, partly remembering the way since last they were in town.
"You can hold my hand if you like... we won't be judged here."
To the tea shop it was then. Following Jushirou he felt the blood rush to his face at the older man's suggestion. To hold his hand in public would be daring for him in so many ways. He made it a point to avoid human contact as he normally hated for anyone to touch him. With Jushirou it was different.
They had kissed several times before this, so what was holding his hand compared to that? It really was nothing, except that it would be in public where everyone would see, but he was right they wouldn't be judged here.
After they'd walked a little ways in silence he moved a little closer to his mentors side, Toshirou could feel his face burning as he took Jushirou's hand in his.
