Well, to say that Danny wasn't a bundle of nerves right now, would have been a flat out lie. He spazzed about his quarters, trying to decide on what to wear. After a few half seconds, he threw on his civilian wear and ran for the docks.

Seeing the Sub-Lieutenant already waiting for him, he smacked his forehead and shuffled over to her.

He threw up a salute to her, as he approached. "I'm sorry for the wait, ma'am."

Oh and she was in uniform. Crap, now what was he going to do? Maybe he could sneak back on board and change...

"Hello, ensign."
If she was offended by his regular attire, she did not show it, only putting a hand to her cap, making sure she had pinned it down against the wind, and returning his salute crisply.
"You don't need to worry. I only just arrived myself." Her tone was coy. "I was actually afraid that I was playing into an old feminine stereotype by making you wait while I did up my hair..."
Looking about the docks with a smile, she walked so that she was beside him. "Have you been to Bellicus before? I must admit, I have not spent much time here."

Danny only shook his head in reply to her making him wait while she did her hair. As it turned out, he'd take even more time, spazzing about in his quarters. Clearly that was a good impression to make on the Lieutenant.

To her question he paused, mentally, and responded. "I have! A few times with my family, but its been a while, I guess."

He tried to remember the way, but with the crowds of the tired and drunk, it was hard to see the street signs. Hopefully he wasn't going to get them too lost.

"Well, then we may be good company for one another."
She shook her head, the corners of her eyes and mouth uplifted slightly in amusement. "At least, the museum should not be terribly difficult to find, I imagine..."
She kept close beside him, not wanting to lose the younger crew mate within the shuffle of the crowds. Not to mention keeping her own balance. She knew that despite her aura of confidence, she was indeed rather frail for a military woman.
"What are you looking forward to seeing?" She asked, trying to be heard above the crowds.
