Jade set his work down at the knock, and walked over to open the door. He quirked a slow brow at the sullen boy just outside, but kept his features otherwise impassive. "Ah, Mr. Minamoto. How wonderful of you to finally drop by!" He stepped back smoothly and adjusted his glasses. "Now, up on the exam table, if you will~"

He wondered, briefly, just who or what had gotten to the young man - Jade certainly hadn't thought it likely Sho would show up voluntarily.

"Yeah yeah, factoring hold on..." Sho grumbled as he made his way over to the table, hissing lightly as he climbed up onto it. His back was not liking this "moving" thing at all...

"Let's just get this over with hec-.... Doctor Curtiss." He cut himself off, flipping from insult to name when he realized that insulting the person about to be prodding his spine might not be the wisest thing he had done.

Jade gave Sho and his grousing a mildly exasperated look. At least it wasn't outright insubordination - the young man seemed to have learned something from his flogging.

He walked over to the cabinets and began pulling out various disinfectants and bandages. "Shirt off, please," Jade said as he tugged on a pair of gloves, "I can cut it off if moving still hurts." He suspected the latter was true, but very much doubted Minamoto would let that bother him.

"I don't need help." He hissed, reaching up and oh so carefully peeling off the shirt. He fought down any urge to whince, the last thing he needed was to show weakness after his punishment. If he didn. these hyenas would eat him alive...
