Sho paused in his work for only moment at the knock, eyeing the door suspisiously. He brought his pen to his mouth, chewing on the tip as he thought. There were really only three options for who was at the door: People to punish, people to drag him to the imfirmery, or Medusa. And he wasn't in the mood for any of those.

So he ignored it, going back to his business.

But when the voice joined in he snorted. That was... Kristoph? He had never met him, but he knew the voice at least.

"What?!"

Ah, excellent. It looks like the man in question was inside. Kristoph allowed himself a moment to smirk with a sense of triumph swelling within him before his face shifted back to normal, and cleared his throat before speaking.

"Do you mind having a moment to, ah... talk?" When there was no answer, the quartermaster decided to make it a bit more specific, but not too much - anyone might be listening to him around the corner, and he had to be careful. "I believe you will be... interested in what I have to speak with you about."

Sho growled to himself, not wanting to get up. Not wanting to MOVE. His back was still screaming at him, even though the gashes had mostly scabbed over by now. He couldn't even bring himself to wear a shirt yet.

But if Kristoph, a man he had never spoken to face to face, had something "interesting" to speak to him about, it was probably something worth knowing. He scowled at the door before struggling to his feet and walking over, cracking the door open and peeking one yellow eye out.

"Talk 000."

If there was one value that Kristoph had, it was patience. He could and would wait for his chances to arrive - and so he waited. Patiently, until the metal door creaked open and he gave an appreciative smile as Sho peeked out from the opening. The quartermaster tilted his head slightly, the devil's smile still on his face as he spoke. Usually he'd be raising an eyebrow at the strange way of Sho's speech, but Kristoph supposed he could let it slide for now.

"Of course I would talk, but it would be better if perhaps our little conversation was behind that door? They're matters of a most... peculiar nature," his eyes flashed once, perhaps is amusement before continuing. "I would have waited until you got better, but I believe this would be a more opportune moment to speak with you instead. Of course, you seem to be a lot better already so my concern seemed to be unfounded. If you don't mind...?"

Patience would be the key here. Sho was going to be a rather tricky one to handle, but some ego-stroking would help he supposed.
