Holmes entered the engine room. Narrowed eyes took in the entire scene: the Drive, the splattered blood, the broken railing, and the young woman looking up at it. He very carefully kept his mind blank of theories and conjectures for the moment: premature theorizing was a fallacy too many great minds committed. "Miss Grants, I presume?" he inquired, polite as always to the fairer sex, as he approached her - and the broken rail.

A voice suddenly broke her reverie as Tear had straightened, carefully shifting to face the speaker. It was a man of dark hair and piercing blue eyes - an individual she recalled seeing around the Silvana a few times. She had not heard him approach, as the noise of the turbines - as well as her thoughts - had drowned out most sounds.

Recalling an entry he had made over his electronic journal, she wondered if he was here for the same reason as her, to investigate into the death of Jean Morris. Giving a nod in response to his statement, she then stated, "And you're Sherlock Holmes, if I'm not mistaken."

"You are not here simply to gawk." Really, he didn't need this - he worked best in an undisturbed environment, and any clues here had likely rubbed away or been trodden on already. If not by her, then other gawkers or well-meaning crewmen attempting to clean would have destroyed the evidence. Still, Holmes would make the most of what he had to work with.

Quickly and nimbly, he climbed to the catwalk, and began to examine the warped metal. "A woman with your military training would not be here unless you had something you wished to accomplish. Are you investigating the murder?"

"Yes," she responded, giving a slight nod, her eyes still fixated to him. "And you?"

Judging from his words, he seemed keen and deeply observant, which made even more likely that he was indeed here to investigate the murder as well. After all, he didn't mention how it was considered an accident - as believed by some - but, rather, an actual endeavor to steal Morris's life. However, before she made this her final conclusion, she'd wait for his response. No point in rushing ahead when it didn't seem as if he had anything to hide about this matter at the moment.
