He'd only arrived a few minutes later than he'd said, after juggling a few distractions and managing to get his rear into gear and actually go up onto the deck. It seemed as if Luffy had made good on his promise of food, in the meantime. Settling with his back against the crow's nest railing, Sora tried to get comfortable.
"Sorry I couldn't get anything to help us out, much. Rikku didn't know of anything that could be used for what we're doing." After eyeing the fishing rod for a moment, the brunette finally acknowledged the rather odd choice of equipment. "What's this for?"

He then blinked at and looked at the fishing rod he had snagged from somewhere before heading here, staring it for a while and trying to think of something to make use of the item before he just shrugged it off and grinned again. "I'm not too sure what we can use it for but I think we can think of something up eventually!" It was obvious that nothing could get Luffy's high spirits down... everything except meatloaf, that was.

"I used to go fishing all the time when I was a kid," Sora recollected to himself, then smiled and unhooked the line.
"Heh. . " Cocking his arm back, the young navigator gave it a good cast, and whooped as the line when zooming with a loud whir from the rigging.

He'd taken to going up to the crow's nest now and again for a bit of peace and respite from the rest of the ship, although he spent increasing time in the brig due to the cooling weather and winds.
Anyway, he'd just settled with in an unobtrusive corner of the crow's nest not long ago with a good comic and a new station he'd discovered that played great instrumental pieces, when the bustle and chatter had bled over from the Winding Way in the form of two boys that--well, he didn't know one of them, but he looked more than a little unhinged anyway, and Sora had been with him--who knew what they were up to.
Now that he'd found out, he was sort of wishing he'd up and left or just stayed in the brig. There was something caught in his hair (hadn't reached his scalp, thank god, because was that a fishing rod?!) and it was trying to tug his headphones off.
