Happy happy birthday~ [Victoria II]

Content: Jade's birthday party/celebration for the victory over the spider beasts.
Setting: Kitchen/mess hall/galley/whatev. Victoria II, Melior.
Time: November 11th BACKDATED. Early evening. Right after this entry.
Warnings: Peony is throwing a party. For everyone on the Vic. To surprise Jade. Yeah. 8|
Peony realized that Jade would be returning soon, and now he had to make his way from the radio room to his quarters to the mess hall. It was all set up- the decorations, the food, the drinks. Everything. It would probably be as much of a surprise to the crew as to Jade, seeing as he'd actually decided to get some workers in to set everything up while the crew worked on getting the city cleaned up. They deserved this as much as Jade did, after all.
So now there was an Erealian prince running down the halls, army of rappigs running after him. He quickly got to his room, unlocking the door and ushering his rappigs in. "I'm sorry, babies, but I promised Manfred you'd be out of his hair for this~ And besides, I think Jade would appreciate it, too~"
The rappigs all looked up at him sadly, and he bit his lip, trying to resist the urge to take them with him. Their sad little snuffles, their wilted ears, their soulful eyes...
He shut the door and ran down the hall towards the mess hall. "I'm sorry!"
Slamming the doors open, he quickly began to inspect the tables- sweets over to one side of the room, with actual meal-type food to another, drinks in the center with the rather exquisite cake that the cooks made. He was quite amazed by their job, especially on such short notice! Fixing some streamers-everything was cool colored. Blues, greens, teals, turquoise-and adjusting the tablecloths, he busied himself about the room until everyone arrived.
