Before entering Ivanova's office, 'Angelo' caught sight of Fran who was just arriving down the opposite hallway. He gave her a nervous smile unsure if his suspicion about this sudden meeting with the First Mate was because of their 'little secret' or not. He knew that eventually that the crew would learn about his desertion from the military but he never expected anything to happen too soon. However, when he first saw the Victoria II docked at Melior, Kiros had a feeling that everything would blow up in his face.

"I am guessing Minamimoto said something..." The boatswain whispered to Fran before opening the door to walk into Ivanova's office. Judging by the unfriendly expression on the officer's face, it seems that Kiros' fears may be justified after all. He managed to keep his emotions in check for now, putting on a rather good 'poker face' on so to not give himself away too quickly if this conversation is not what he think it will be
about.

Fran didn't have to put on a poker face--she just followed after Kiros, nodding to Ivanova.

"You wanted to speak to us?"

"Yes, I did." She did not have a pleased expression on her face. She didn't offer either of them a seat either.

"I'm almost offended. Did you really think I wouldn't check up on your credentials at the first opportunity, Seagill?" She used his real name on purpose.

He almost reeled back when Ivanova said his real name but he managed to keep his face as expressionless as possible. "No, but I was hoping to avoid the inevitable until the time would come that the truth will have to be said." Kiros replied to the First Mate, his tone completely lacking the mirth it is known for.
