The last thing Seragillo needs right now is someone to get on his bad side after such a fun yet tiring day. The rest of the crew seemed more friendly and receptive to him now after putting in some hours at the docks with the quartermasters. It seems that Kiros was starting to find his place among the crew of the 'Kill-em-All' Silvana, not looking as stone-faced and morbid as a few days before. This was good considering the fact the former mechanic now boatswain didn't feel such camaraderie aboard the Victoria II. This was a nice change from the stuffy old ship that horrible Admiral von Karma runs, pleasant here despite the slightly ominous feelings he may have about being a new crew member of the infamous airship ( ... )

Cid had the small card table he had dragged down to the engine room covered with various ship parts, and was looking over them one at a time. Each part was shiny and new, and he had to appreciate that. Though they didn't yet have the personality of good old used parts.

With a slight cough he looked up at his name, and gave the boatswain a harsh grin. "Seragillo!" He stood, giving the slighter man a hard pat on the back. "Sit. We gotta talk." He pointed towards another chair, and it was quickly obvious that he had set up a comfy little lair for himself down here.

"Eh!?" Kiros was honestly taken back by the mechanic's friendly disposition with him now. That wide grin on Cid's face honestly made the boatswain a tad bit worried, he could tell there was something more to that jovial grin than what he could see. Maybe this guy is up to something? Yeah, that has to be the reason.

"Ah? W-we do?" 'Angelo' blinked his eyes a few times, as he eyed the little set up here. If the boatswain didn't know any better, it looks as if Highwind might be doing some lounging down here in the engine room after hours or something.

"Okay..." Kiros muttered as he took a seat looking very weary of the suddenly cheerful mechanic. "You seem happy."

Perfect. Got him off balance... now to move in. Cid smirked, waving a hand at the parts littering the table. "Course I am. These things are perfect. Haven't seen quality like this in years." As he spoke the tea kettle started whistling. Cid darted forward, blocking the view of the pot with his body. He poured the liquid into a cup, then added something nice and sweet from a flask in his jacket. A little bit less added to his own cup and he turned, putting the first cup in front of 'Angelo'.

"Drink." He said bluntly, sipping his own.
