The dress was, admittedly, one she'd taken out of the pile she'd been making for Naruto and his nefarious purposes. It had just been too pretty to pass up, with it's floaty, sea-blue fabric, slightly more art style and neckline just low and square-cut to be daring without being risque. And hopefully didn't clash with her hair.
Shawl wrapped around her, she waited for Wolf, watching the lights of the small city and the empty-looking desert beyond.

He had spotted her almost immediately after arriving on deck but was so enthralled at the sight of her that he even forgot to be embarrassed that she had arrived first. Wolf immediately approached her, not bothering to hide his look of breathless awe.
"Excuse me, Miss. Have you seen a girl who is plain and unworthy of recognition? You see, she describes herself as such but I can't seem to find such a girl anywhere! Certainly you cannot be her, for even if I were blind it would be impossible not to see your beauty." He reached out for her hand and, leaning down but continuing to hold her gaze, kissed it softly.

She looked down at the skirt, the sunset bringing out the hints of green in the fabric. "You think it's okay? I mean, I only finished it the other day, and thought, well, I could wear it tonight, and..." She trailed off, bashful blush across her face.

Wolf had honestly been so enthralled with Sophie's overall appearance that he'd hardly even noticed the dress by itself. Straightening and stepping up close to her, her hand still held gently in his, he shook his head slowly. "I need to get you out of the habit of using words such as 'okay', and 'plain', and 'simple'. They just don't suit you. I'm almost afraid to take you into town now. I might have to beat other men off of you." Grinning like an utter fool, Wolf stepped to her side and held out his arm to her.
