I've never heard of the Alliance, but it's unlikely they have anything to do with your being here. Everyone here seems to be from different - for want of a better word - universes.

The Alliance, the Feds, whatever you want to call them... they're the main system of government where I come from. Figured my bein' here was the result of some plot to stop me doin' what they don't like.
I want to say the idea of there bein' different universes surprises me, but it really doesn't.
