Delete your old vampire default and then clone/resave him in BS. If you've already done that, then make him a vampire again once you get in the game.

I had already deleted the old default (well moved it out onto the desktop before putting in the other one so I'm not sure exactly the problem, but who knows). The BS idea is great I will definitely try that. I also know very easily where to get him again if anything goes wrong so that's good.

What I do is I fix it in game by using the boolProp testingcheatsenabled true, then shift-click the individual and go to Make Vampire. Then I shift-click them again, and go to Cure Vampire, and they lose the fangs and the vampire skin overlay over their heads and are thus human.

I've had to do that as I've cloned some of my vampires into another 'hood for the purposes of a story that I'm working on that is a prequel to my main vampire story, and while technically, they come up as "human", they still retain the fangs. So I fixed 'em in that way until I was ready to turn them back into vampires.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was expecting I would have to do, but I was hoping there might be a way to do something in CAS. I figured it couldn't hurt to check.

I actually have two that are doing, father and son which may reveal which legacy it is from *grins*, so I was thinking since I wanted to play, but wasn't ready to work on my legacy family because I'm not ready to work on a post that it might be fun to put them in a neighborhood I don't play a lot and just enjoy them.

It's a pain, but it works. In my opinion, zombies are easier to clone over because I can always fix those in Bodyshop. :P I only had to do that with one zombie and he was human with no issues (until I had him killed off and re-zombiefied all over again; morbid, I know...).

I haven't had a zombie yet. I have a pretty cool default, and an overly for the eyes, so I should actually use them.
