i think i have a bug. whenever my sims call the matchmaker/gypsy, she just comes and leaves a genie lamp, regardless of everyone's lifetime aspiration level. i have no options when i click on her. i haven't installed any new hacks besides lotfullofsims since installing freetime, but i can't pinpoint if this started before or after install K&B

It's a bug fixed with the FT patch.

I do believe that was a known FT glitch, which I thought was fixed in the last patch.

It's a bug. And it's not fixed by the patch because I patched and still had the bug. But then I heard that there was apparently a third patch and I only used the second patch so maybe they finally fixed it with the third patch...

So if the patch doesn't fix it for you or if you don't want to get it because of SecuROM, go to Simbology and grab the Matchmaker Genie Lamp Delivery Fix.

It will make you use the launcher. So unless you bypass it straight away by changing your shortcuts or immediately putting in a noCD crack you will end up installing SecuROM. If you've used the launcher in the past you've already got it.

i've used no cd cracks since bon voyage came out because i don't want securom. i've never even seen the launcher on my computer.

is there any way to install a patch without getting securom in the process?
