Yeah, I agree with bigbadbutch88; definitely not a dumb question. I've actually never really thought about this, because I've never even dreamed of trying to fulfill it. :O

They really should have worded it "Raise 20 Puppies AND/OR Kittens."

it's really not that hard. annoying, though. that was my one sim's goal, so she adopted 2 female dogs and 1 male and they were just constantly pregnant for like 2 weeks or something. Then, her son aged up to teen, and HIS LTW was the same thing ... and the next litter was born the next morning and hers AND his was fulfilled and I was so pissed. once they get their LTW, I get bored, there's nothing else to work for. Usually they're at least adults so I just wait out their lives and concentrate on their children.
