I have not yet read the books (I've decided I'd rather see the movie first, as the rule is that the books are almost always better... WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS PLAN?), but from the clips I've been watching, it blows "The Addams Family" out of the water. Nine times. I really cannot wait to see it.
I AM DESPERATE TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THE MOVIE, once you see it. I purposely saw the Harry Potter movie, the LotR movies, and several others WITHOUT reading the books first, as well as the musical Wicked, because I enjoy getting the "didn't read the book" opinion.
BUT IT IS MY HOPE THAT AFTER THE MOVIE YOU WILL READ THE BOOKS. <3
