Pretty sure I know I've officially reached adulthood when I want more practical things for Christmas :P A clear bubble umbrella, glitter knitting needles, a quartz point or wand, beaded stitch markers, bigger crochet hooks, and yarn xD And a Kindle, which Elisa is getting me. I mean, that's not super practical, but I've somehow acquired almost 150 ( Read more... )

BTW, if you get some money to spare, check out the book Pawns of Concilia written by my friend Chris Felts. It's pretty great! :D :P (promoting my friend, woot!) and it's available on ebook.

Welcome to my LJ :)

You will just love your Kindle I got one and do not regret it at all. I love it! I think I should crochet a cover for mine too! That is a great idea, I just need some nice yarn.

Welcome to mine, too! :D

And yaaaay Kindle! I was abhorrent of ereaders up until last year, when somehow I kept acquiring ebooks, all freebies or won in giveaways. I figured I would just read them on the computer, but the high contrast of the screen gives me a headache. Plus, a Kindle is easier to lug around than a bound book. I'm still obsessed with bound books, so I will never stop buying those! :)
