for those of you who are mutual friends, you know that kristenred had surgery this week. she got home tonight, but is still not up to anything other than watching her tivo. in a wicked twist of fate, her painkillers make her nauseous when she tries to focus on reading or writing. i almost accused her of laying herself out like this so she could get ahead ( Read more... )

And I am envious of all of you. Envious of you guys for having her and getting to have the doofus over. Envious of her for having friends like you guys. Envious of just everybody in general. ENVY. *laugh* Y'all make me want to move to Dallas sometimes, that's how envious I am. And that is NOT A SMALL THING to me. Because I've already lived in Dallas once.
Really, it's beautiful that you all interact the way you do.

awww, thanks. :) yeah, dallas can pretty much blow me. but it's got the requisite low annual snowfall (though this year's weather is challenging that fact!) and the nearby dearly beloved family members. i'm trying to talk them all into moving to austin with me. :)

but then what do we do with the chimp after the bananas are gone? this is going to lead to one of those never-ending refill cycles, just like the guacamole and the corn chips. they never run out at the same time.

I've never experienced a chimp-vacuum, so I'm not sure.
